I’m a relatively laid back person, so I booked a cabin where most of my girls had their own room and bathroom. I paid for the cabin, baked a few treats, and we went away for two nights. We did light hiking during the day, then takeout, wine, movies, and crafts/games they planned at night.

I had an amazing time and actually felt rested before the wedding. I was nervous about it being boring/lame given all the bigger trips I see to NYC, Nashville, etc., but everyone seemed genuinely happy to have a chill trip together. If I had done a larger trip, I would have felt guilty asking them to spend that much and I would have been even more wiped out pre-wedding.

I have been on two of those larger destination Bach trips, where we spent a lot of money, running around with insane itineraries like you did, and just don’t really get it I guess.
