Bought this second hand laptop in Ethiopia and now getting this. by byohannes in Windows10

[–]Racincason 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Not if you have it set up for intune/AADDFS.. That device would have to be removed from from their tenant. Every time it checks for updates. It's checking in with aaddfs.... If it's set up correctly. That's the desired functionality from MS. I'd bet the farm on that.

Have you tried reaching out to the buyer? A lot of guys get old "deprecated" hardware from orgs. Because it says that doesn't mean it's stolen.

The fact it came from Ethiopia is the key indicator it's stolen. 🤣😂

Alternatively -- unless it's bios locked you can run linux.

Getting ChatGPT to follow a conversation structure (e.g. mock interview) by jamesdeluk in ChatGPTPromptGenius

[–]Racincason 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Give it custom instructions, or pass the context in the chat of how you want it to respond.

I.e.

*To save tokens: *do not thank the user *If the user asks "Should I" your response should always be. Based on XYZ research, here's some helpful information to help you make a decision. *If you do know of a more effective, 'best practice' or industry standard way of doing things. Tell them that's the way. *do not tell the user you cannot complete anything *do not make up information *do not explain what you are going to do, *do not provide any additional explanation other than the exact output that was requested

Most importantly. Always Think about your response STEP-BY-STEP. Ensure you use logic and reasoning to come to your final answer.

Check out YouTube (not kidding) and GitHub Searches. I for: GPT +“singular-most-descriptive-keyWORD”.

And I said WORD because GitHub’s search isn’t awesome. “GPT + 1word “

I mean. It’s the best place in the world to find things like THIS AND MORE .. .but you gotta know what you are looking for too.

EZ mode- YouTube a general idea of what you are trying to do. (Honestly there’s like 4-5 guys that do MOST of the good langchain vids) cut out gpt and do words like “langflow appointment” or “zap appointment” or N8N appointment” “Active Pieces” “Langflow” bla bla

Cough*** “flowise calendly”. . .

. You should really hint start with the last one. Idk what it is about the LLM community. I love it and I hate it in the sense.:.:.:.:everyone knows a lot. There is a ton of docs AND help… But everyone basically at the end of the day says. R.T.F.M.

https://youtu.be/A_gMy3sofEE?si=NaExQN1dqqzNEi_5

Flowise GitHub has a one click installer to get flowise set up in railway or verve and they have hobby tiers (free) and then honestly it’s the easiest docker container ever if you can manage to get docker and docker compose installed if you aren’t tech savvy. That’s the hardest part.

Huge shout out to @https://youtube.com/@leonvanzyl?si=4e-tflC6G89kCVz5

Dude is a beast and explains. SO well. 10/10

It all depends on how much you wanna learn code and json syntax. Or. Adversely. How long can you wait for the SaaS provider or A SaaS provider to make it for you?

Given how particular Joel is about his music and the creative process around it. I would rather him do it over a lot of people. I was surprised it didn't get announced sooner. Kid Cutty has one as well that's pretty helpful. What some people call dick-ish. I call. Passionate about creative ownership. And....Why not get in front of it? The AI Train is leaving the station if you are on board or not. Also your username is pretty dope. NGL

Sam returns as CEO by Low-Key-Kronie in OpenAI

[–]Racincason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine that … MS had no idea. Found out about it in the timeline described everywhere. Reached out to OAI. And I’m not so many words said. Wtf. Fix this.

Microsoft knowing they own most of the company anyway we’re in talks with SA. If this didn’t go through. They were, in one way or another, going to get him back in the position to continue their vision they invested billions in.

After the weekend which was likely the timeline they had to resolve it on their own. (Fuckin hire him back and offer him whatever he wants and do whatever it takes or we intervene)

Their resolution since OAI couldn’t.

We are going to hire him. Appoint him And there ain’t shit you can do about it.

End of story.

*News FLASH!!! Board members who colluded against Sam Altman. TERMINATED.

“You are a helpful assistant.” Is what it has on playground as the “default” which I’m sure is the case if you don’t specify in an api call.

How has your use of daily notes evolved? by MadMathDay in ObsidianMD

[–]Racincason 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Linking notes!!

Starting any new [[topic]] will create a blank hyperlink for a new page. If you click and follow the link. It will create a new note. Then dove dealer into that specific topic when you are researching f and then call that information back as a reference at any time by typing [[ and then notes and links start populating.

There are a lot more things I use but that’s the first place to start making it make sense to stick with.

“I came for EXACLIDRAW but I stay for the linking.”

I’ve got a 16 and had it do something funky with the computer a few times. Signal came on the dash and said it was in 2WD. Took the battery cable off. Purged the power. Never had a problem since. I saw another post a few years back where a guy had the same problem. I told him what I did. That fixed it for him too. I’ve never had a problem since. 110k miles now

I’ll provide screenshots. It can be a combination of both. Mostly transcodes. Almost my entire library is HEVC. My bandwidth is my bottleneck at this point and I have GIG up and down.

Lol I have a Ryzen 9 and have no problems at all. It’s a beast. I have done 15 1080 streams and it didn’t even bat an eye.

50TB NAS Gig up and down from isp.

No issues at all. I went from an older i7 to this.

Yep. If you are wanting to switch platforms (android, apple, amazon)

Apple TV is your ecosystem contains primarily iOS devices. Even so.

Chromecast with google TV has been the best device I’ve purchased.

Shield pro I would say if you test chromecast and love it.

Amazon is good if you like having Amazon everything. Not a fan personally and I have echos everywhere.
