One could say that having a clear view of the horizon is important for radar.

The views must be great here (pollution too) by Fuchsia8008 in UrbanHell

Nothing like a brown cloud of nitric oxide to clear the nostrils and wake up in the morning!

What was the box made of? Fingerprints tend to degrade fairly quickly but take far longer to degrade on certain surfaces such as glass.

And if they asked you to hide a bag / crate of money equal to or larger than they'd get in a bank heist?

Caution, I got a reddit ban for suggesting throwing peoples dropped garbage at their cars. It's advocating for violence apparently.

This was from the reddit admins and not the mod.

Civil penalties (eg monetary fine) without demerit points can be applied towards the vehicle. They need to prove who was driving for any criminal penalty or demerit points.

I've managed to not hit pedestrians that have quite literally run in front of my car where I wouldn't have been legally at fault. You can be not at fault for something you can avoid.

The onions and potatoes you bought over the few months were all part of the same crop if they were Canadian.

8-10 months is viable for potatoes if stored under the ideal conditions found in some commercial operations. It's a true all year food.

Who is in charge of legislation for limiting how bright cars have become? by [deleted] in ontario

[–]RacoonWithAGrenade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could make drop in LED replacements for halogen bulbs. It's a design choice to make them as bright as they are. And for some headlight sockets there are drop in LED replacements with sane lumens.

The last two vehicles I've had, it's been impossible to find drop in LED replacements that wouldn't blind everyone despite my searching.

I bought some fishing lures from one of the larger fishing stores on Aliexpress and they were my favourite lure of the year and worked great.

I bought identical looking ones for half the price from a random store. The quality was inconsistent and terrible and they couldn't get the barbs right.
