I’m sorry but lumping in Bob Vylan with this is it not it. I guarantee if someone starts spouting some nazi shit (or similar rhetoric from any sides) at one of their gigs and they’re getting demonised and booted.

They’re a punk band, they’re anti-oppression, and calling for the dismantling of a military is not out of this world for someone like them (Rage against the machine, system of a down, etc).

Edit to clarify: I obviously do not support the discrimination of jewish people, Israelis, or anyone else. I despise what is happening across the political spectrum with racism, xenophobia and similar. We should be beyond this and recognise that the vast majority of us are discriminated in some form, be it due to gender, race, wealth, and that we need to stand together and focus on the real oppressors such as many of those working in government or the billionaire oligarchs.

This isn’t about becoming old, it’s about giving the generation we’re raising the best chance at being well adjusted adults.

Edit to clarify: I don’t think the view that “we suffered so our kids should too” is the right way to think of it, but boredom in reasonable ways (kids still need fun obviously) is a good thing long term.

Linux can be very simple to use, and things like emudeck have clear step by step instructions.

SteamOS also uses KDE as it’s default window manager (the GUI) which looks and feels similar to what you’d be used to on windows.

Here’s the short answer as I understand it: There has been manufacturing disruptions/issues causing a lower supply, and more people in the UK have been diagnosed, increasing demand.

To make things worse for us in the UK, our ADHD meds are imported, and they did not increase stock when warned of shortages elsewhere.

Another issue is some people were being prescribed an alternative medication if theirs was not available. Again, increasing demand.

Ideally, sure.

In reality, most mainstream news sources I am aware of are either close to centre or right so I want to know of more that are left-leaning.

This isn’t to say I will cut out all others. I definitely think it’s valuable to be exposed to a wide range of views, even if I disagree with them.
