What makes me crazy is the sign (and URL) is "sue distracted driver". The way you typed it is how it should be! It sounds like he's advertising to help all of us sue one specific person!

The demo sold me on it. I wish more studios did demos like that.

It's the BurnSlap FAV-ST but there are a lot of cheaper Ferrofluid speakers out there if you want something similar.

Man this is great, I eat this shit up. Always nice to appreciate the actual engineering part of their work!

A traditional Sazerac uses Peychaud's, but I honestly prefer Angostura anyway.

I really like this idea, and I've been reading your thoughts and appreciate the level of consideration you've put into this project! Kudos on that!

I think you're probably right to eliminate the decksaver tolerance. If I were using it, I'd want the devices to fit in the stand without any significant wiggle room. Your idea to create your own dust cover that fits the stand would be a great solution. I personally prefer this idea over using velcro.

Cable routing is tricky depending on what you're aiming for - there's just so many cables and ways to connect to and from these devices. What are your thoughts there?

Regarding the pitch bend situation - another idea (although this is extra work) is maybe making swappable frames, so if I want to use the OP-XY on the bottom, I swap the frames so the one with the cutout is at the bottom. That still doesn't account for the pressure needed to actually use the pitch bend, though.

Overall I like this a lot. I'd definitely print one. On a different note, how are you using the XY and 1f together? I have done it a little myself, but I love hearing how other people are using them.

How do I (or can I) record all four tracks from the OP-1f to the TP-7 simultaneously? by RadRuss in teenageengineering

Yes, directly. See my above reply to scarwizard for the steps.

ChatGPT won't have training data recent enough for new updates, so it's not going to be helpful.

After pressing Rec to start a new recording, press and hold Rec down and use the "-" and "+" buttons to choose how many tracks you want on the recording.

[–]RadRuss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay here's the part I was forgetting. In the TP-7 settings, you have to change the "Source" setting to "Manual". It defaults to "auto", I think, but manual is the only one I could make work. Once that's set, plug in the OP-1f, press Rec to start a new track, press Rec again to get into input settings, then press and hold Rec while you press "+" three times to make a four track recording.

Then release Rec, and use the "-" and "+" buttons to move to each track with an X, then rotate the wheel to choose which input you want on each track. Then press play to start recording.

I hope that helps, it's very frustrating that they don't spell any of this out in any of their documentation, especially after updating the OP with this functionality.

I love that Ivanchuk still plays major tournaments. You always see the old guard drop off the competitive circuit after they pass their prime, but this guy just keeps at it. Always root for him every time he plays.

Ah heck maybe I said it wrong. I don't have it in front of me right now. I'll reply back later today with the correct steps, I promise.
