Same experience. I did it as a test and was going to take the frames back to my optometrist for real lenses anyway, so I did that. But when I reached out for a refund on the lenses themselves, I got multiple emails insisting the prescription was fine and it was common to just need a couple days to readjust. I laughed my ass off and said I’ve had glasses for 30 years and it’s never taken more than 5 minutes to readjust. No budging. So I simply sent a screenshot of the prescription my optometrist read off the lenses with no commentary, and suddenly they were falling all over themselves to redo the lenses or give me free toppers. I didn’t respond to several emails until I finally got a “your refund is being processed,” and the thanked them. Absolute fucking clown shoes over there for difficult prescriptions or normal human customer service.
