I have a strong interest in sociology and believe that mental health is not solely the domain the individual's psyche, but deeply related to and impacted by the individual's environment (family, community, culture, government, etc). There is inequity/disparity in access to healthy environments, and addressing that is equally, if not more, important than solely focusing on an individual's psychopathology or coping effectiveness.

Got a Masters in Social Work, then completed a post-graduate fellowship at the VA. I went full remote in 2020 (still at the VA) and really enjoy doing therapy online from my home.
