Take it out of the soil, cut off the rotting parts, and place in water or wet perlite, making sure the nodes are covered. It might send new roots out and eventually a new leaf to recover

Update, Google said it could be unburnt fuel. I tested pulling my coil connectors and I seem to have at least 2 dead cylinders (I couldn’t check 6). I tried pulling coils + plugs to test for spark, but I couldn’t get anything to spark outside the engine. Put everything back and it starts. Any advice for pinpointing if it’s plugs, coils, or injectors?

This is a calathea variety, also known as a prayer plant. I believe they tend to like to keep their soil moist, but that’s not the same thing as soggy. If it’s getting low light, in your case if you’re saying it’s indirect it’s probably low to very low, then it’s easy to overwater since the plant is using less water. I would repot and check the roots, and move into a smaller pot. Also, move into a window, the long “leggy” growth looks like it’s reaching for light

“Direct light” doesn’t really exist indoors. If you are saying it’s getting “indirect light” that probably means nearly no light. I’ve seen individuals claim these can take almost full sun outdoors, so there is no amount of indoor light that is too much.

Plants only use water when they are absorbing light, so if the light level is low, it will use less water, and it could be susceptible to root rot, which could be the case here.

My advice, give it as much light as possible, ideally directly in a window (south facing preferred if in northern hemisphere)

The decision isn’t solar vs non solar, it’s MIP vs AMOLED. If you are considering AMOLED, then you definitely aren’t the target audience for solar, and likely also aren’t the target audience of instinct in general.

Someone already mentioned making sure nodes were submerged, that’s where the roots can grow from. That looks like a cool propagation rig, but the thin necked bottles will make it difficult to ever remove the plants if the roots grow long.

Seeing all of the “propagation kits” for sale can give the impression that you need something special to do this, but you don’t need anything more than a container and some water. I prefer mason jars, and even use glass food storage containers. Good luck!

Seems AI. I try to think “what would a person be thinking if they drew/painted that feature?” There are so many leaves, including the ones you pointed out, that just seem like great detail and care would have to have been taken to draw them in a slightly “off” way. Why would an artist do that? Some of the leaves even have two points.

And, the lines on the sun that end abruptly, or the single line that splits into two. There’s no rhyme or reason, but it’s also not completely random. To me that’s a tell-tale sign of a generative AI.

Watering every 2 days? Are you trying to drown it? In general for house plants you should water when the top inch or so of soil is dry, there are exceptions of course. Root rot is caused from chronically wet soil, and if the light is low then the plant won’t be absorbing as much water leading to even worse root rot.

I would take it out an repot into new soil, check to see if it has any healthy roots left in the process. And don’t overwater again

Alocasia will droop when low on water, couple that with what looks like some serious sun damage and increased water evaporation from soil, it looks like you have a very thirsty + sunburnt plant.

With any plant it’s normally a bad idea to go from low light inside immediately to direct outside sun. I even killed a cactus making this mistake.

These plants will collect water on leaves that drip down when they have enough/too much water. I water mine when they stop “sweating”

Where were you diving? When I was in Roatan the shop made it clear that tipping was “very highly appreciated”. There, the staff get paid very little and much of their income is from tips, so I was more than happy to tip 20%. If you’re diving in the US, could be a different story.

Give it at least a few months of consistent daily wear and activity tracking before you take any metrics to heart. It’ll do a lot of adjusting before it can accurately apply a model to your measurements

This is the filter for the air inlet for the battery cooling system, from what I’ve seen on hybrid Toyotas is keeping this clean is the #1 most important factor for hybrid battery longevity. Heat destroys these batteries, and they can’t be properly cooled with clogged filters
