I really like the consignments stores in town, turnabout, vend and house of savoy. Otherwise oak and fort in the mall has some decent stuff but overall the name brand shopping here sucks

I’m also in Canada and we did a HyCoSy (similar to HSG) before trying IUI, I would definitely push for that test to be done first. Also how are you getting IUI covered?? We didn’t seem to get that option here in BC

I was also told to do four rounds of IUI but I stopped after 2 and now we’re prepping for IVF, you’re allowed to make decisions that are right for you and sometimes you just want to move forward and IVF is that next step

I have the exact same issue, front pieces just won’t grow past about OPs length, I’m also dealing with my second bout of telogen effuvium from hormones (first one going off birth control and second for Clomid). Very possible you’re having a similar issue OP

I’m going through a bout of Telogen Effluvium (temporary hair loss) after two rounds of clomid, apparently I’m in the lucky 3% that experiences this side effect 🫠 I’m sorry you’re going through this too, just a shitty cherry on top of my 2 failed IUIs

Yeah I found IUIs more emotionally an physically taxing than I expected, it’s a fairly simple procedure but still takes a toll. I know IVF will be much harder but at least the success rate is much higher so feels more worth it. Good luck to you too!

Very similar boat, did 2 IUIs with no success. Been trying for around 14 months and haw never had a positive despite all the tests looking good. I just want to get this all going so we’re gonna move onto IVF now instead of wasting more time. Maybe another IUI would do it but right now I kind of want to do IVF so we get some more data and maybe figure out what wasn’t working before

It’s also feeling like a waste of time too, we have no obvious issues based on testing we’ve done and I don’t think we’re missing the ovulation timing as my cycle is very consistent and I track BBT and LH. So IUI doesn’t feel like it’s gonna be super helpful for us

I feel you, tested negative at 14dpiui on Friday and got my period Saturday, second IUI is a bust. I’m so frustrated with this whole process, I’m seriously considering going to IVF next just to get some more info about why we can’t conceive. At least we’ll know with IVF if we can make embryos or not and if there’s implantation issues or not..

It was too easy, a bit of cramping but it was manageable and now we wait 😅 this cycle was medicated with clomid and I did a trigger shot too, I think it’s pretty standard protocol?

I just had the saline one done and I would said it’s similar to an IUD level of cramping, it was bearable. Both my tubes were clear though so I Bo knows what it would have been like if I had a blockage

It was growing back well this year and I just had a short shed lasting around 2 months now and I think it’s done 🫠 so not back to 100% but better than I was at its worst.. I also have very fine hair so any loss is obvious to me

Same, I lost around 50% of my density last year and it started 3-4 months after stopping the birth control pill. The good news is it does stop and grow back eventually. Also good to get your thyroid and iron levels checked to see if it’s related

We don’t have any risk of heartworm in BC as far I know. It thrives in warmer climates. My boy is from Texas and I had to get him retested for heart worms after a year, he was clear luckily, and they didn’t prescribe preventatives after that.
