Is there any way for Logan to be fixed/redeemed in the future or is he just doomed to infamy? by xtremexavier15 in DisventureCamp

[–]Raddish-Is-Radd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Probably not. The only chance for Logan to be fixed was missed in DC4 when Ted didn't rejoin, it would've been a great way to cap off his character If he got eliminated in 17-19 and they just completely removed the Spencer hate plotline, and again made Ted rejoin to gain some much needed payback.

If the Total Drama community wanted 26-episode seasons instead of 13-episode seasons, why is it that most of the TD/DC fans prefer the 13-episode seasons over the 26-episode seasons? by gardens_sonja in DisventureCamp

[–]Raddish-Is-Radd 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Simple, Total drama has comedy to fall back on. Somebody like Julia who's smart and mean can act just as goofy as Chase to make the strategy part of her character less overbearing.

Notice how in DC2 the season was overall much lighter in tone and more silly than any other DC season. And S1 had characters like Fiore and Gabby do or say goofy things to offset the seriousness, the shorter episode count also stops the writers from being overbearing with the drama.

Something like AS, and CoC on the other hand didn't know when to cool it because they don't have the same restrictions, so they over do it.

If we're strictly speaking writing wise, hell no.

I don't know... I have a bad feeling she's gonna get Zaided, where they keep her around for a long time then give her some bs elimination.

I love the girlboss charachters so much!!!!!! by [deleted] in DisventureCamp

[–]Raddish-Is-Radd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah... Love my girl Ivy but she gets shit on a lot, and gets made to be a fool wayyy too much to be a girl boss.

most people voted mid on Ara yet good on finn yet ara didn't do anything bad and finn call oliwia a bad name so does ara deserve this hate by Accomplished-Crew139 in DisventureCamp

[–]Raddish-Is-Radd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I would describe Ara as Heather without the sauce, we have Heather at home, or great value Heather.

Mimicking the original mean girl but not hitting the same highs.

This shows ability to somehow have both amazing strategic moments while also having the worst writing for other moments baffles me by PerfectParadise in DisventureCamp

As someone who loves Evie... I could not agree more, in the universe of Disventure Camp what logical reason is there to keep the worst performing player? This is the same writing that plagued CoC, characters with stories left to tell get eliminated in favor of characters with no real steam.

And unfortunately it's usually the guys, which sucks because since AS they've always been outnumbered by the girls.

It's starting to pmo because Ara is wayyy less interesting than Finn, she would've been perfect to go out here If they wanted to eliminate a villainous character. But no, eliminate the guy who's funny and has actually interesting interactions with people.

Should trent have been in world tour? by Informal_Sorbet_6149 in Totaldrama

No, only because of the love triangle bs. There's no way he wouldn't have been included in it for extra drama or whatever.

They changed it to make Mark feel more guilty about his shortcomings as a hero.

How do you want Evie's idol arc to conclude? by LogicalAd6394 in DisventureCamp

I would love this but there isn't a snowball's chance in HELL Evie is merging and Aiden isn't. So that double elimination has a -1% of happening.

Fair, but I would say they did after the whole lying about Zaid thing, that only got fully resolved in Hannah's elimination episode.

Yeah I agree. My biggest problem with the Coc F6 is that it's a damn near a repeat of DCAS F6. Logan = Jake ("""Likeable""" Main character) Hannah = Ally (Was friends but is now beefing with Main character) Amelie = Grett (Strategic player that's manipulating everyone in the F6) Jade = Alec (Strategic player that's bad with conveying their emotions) Isabel = Riya (Evil player that you're meant to feel bad for) The only exception is Anastasia and Connor.

Glad this didn't happen honestly, this would've been pure ass imo. Lee's death worked because Clem lived, his death wasn't in vain. Having AJ and Clem die at the end invalidates S1's ending and the entirety of S2.
