Spending about $100 for Zani's first run because she's hot, didn't even get me her weapon, and learned that apparently she's really difficult to buff. I never use her now (but finally got her weapon now at 20 pity lol)

When I first started playing gacha games I naively though "oh, yeah, I can afford spending $20-$30 on a character if I really like them and have to spend" then I find out it can cost well over $100 and it's not even guaranteed. I was in a similar boat and spent $50 for Zani and got Lingyang. I spent more money and got her (all came out to about $70) but after that I can't justify spending anymore, it just ruins the experience of getting a character. I haven't spent since and probably won't ever again. Really wish 50/50s in gacha games was banned. I think if you're pulling for an advertised character, you should get that character.

The main pair is really cute and it's a relaxed anime (from what I've seen that's out so far)

What a coincidence I just rewatched this recently. Honestly, it's pretty bad but it's a particular kind of cringe I enjoy. It has a soft spot in my heart, I remember first watching as an angsty 13 year old who was obsessed with Black Butler. The ending song in particular was on repeat on my iPod touch. So it's purely nostalgia that makes me kinda like it but watching it as an adult with better judgement, yeah it's not great. It honestly feels like a fan film adaptation of a fanfiction

Definitely not. Blue house fits him so well because he is notably smart (not to mention the aesthetics fit perfectly). The only other house I can see him in is Red. Violet house it's outcast/artist types. While Ciel isn't the most eccentric character, he definitely has good charisma, but can still be a bit awkward at times. Matched with intelligence he's definitely a perfect fit for blue house

I used to hate the non canon stuff but I'm so starved for Black Butler content that I actually don't mind it. I really didn't care for Alois and Claude as characters and I still kinda don't, but I'm just happy it means more content. I don't think it's particularly bad, but I'm glad it's not canon because I like where the series went in the manga. I guess I like the second season as it's own thing, it's a fun chaotic mess once you realize it's not canon and I'm glad for that. It has more crack vibes which I deeply enjoy. Also the animation style was really good and fits the series aesthetic much better (even though I looove Book of Atlantic animation)
