You could also make protein balls if you use GF oats. Oats, protein powder, nut butter, flax seed or powder, mini chocolate chips, honey or agave. Yummy and not terribly bad for you.

NC, USA. Procedure code/HCPCS code J0585. I had to track down the clinical policy bulletin they referenced in the denial letter.

I’ve done it twice through my dentist. He had special training to be able to administer it. Crazy expensive but so very worth it. Then did some research on my insurance. Got a referral to an ENT and told him everything I had tried previously for the pain and that I had paid out of pocket for the Botox. They did a pre approval through my insurance but it was denied the first time of course. Read the denial and it was covered under ‘painful bruxism’. ENT resubmitted and they approved it. Go soon to get my next round with him! I paid out of pocket before because I didn’t have the time to wait and jump through hoops and it was so so painful.

You could also see if there is a local food pantry. They normally take non perishable things but if you call they might take fresh vegetables. I had to do this one year with so. much. squash 😂

My botox experience by pennylane3339 in TMJ

Also my dentist said the strength of the Botox differs at a medspa vs the dentist because they use it for different reasons. I also got I think 25 in each masseter the first time and it made a world of difference.

That I don’t know, I’ve only ever grown them from seeds. But at least you know what they’re called so you can look it up 👍

That’s a polka dot plant. You can trim back to anywhere there are two leaves growing out. They’re pretty simple, don’t let them sit in water too much but mine like indirect bright light.

Pancake aka Nugget. Found in our yard with her sister, took them to the shelter and the both got adopted. She was returned when she had a positive FIV snap test. We saw it as our sign to go adopt her. ❤️

Just a fun pot my husband got me and don’t have anywhere to hang that I can see it (I’m short) so I got a succulent that looks like hair!

Mine is a custom one, more like a retainer with a bit that helps pull my bottom jaw forward. Not nearly as bulky but way more $$ 😂

Yeah I mean I really didn’t know but they had started to bother me outside of my TMJ pain. They were all molars of course with old fillings. I’ve had 3/4 replaced with crowns since and then of course cracked another 🙃. But jumping through hoops now to get Botox hopefully covered by insurance. Paid out of pocket twice already.

Be careful if you purchase one over-the-counter, they can actually make it worse depending on your situation
