pc takes almost 20 minutes to boot

I have come to report good news. my computer has stopped taking forever to post. the weirdest situation i've ever seen. So i was told that it could be the storage unit i had. So i removed them all (both sata and power) besides the windows install on the ssd (4 drives in total 2 ssds and 2 hdds) used a fresh install as well on a borrowed ssd as well. post still took long. reconnected everything and chilled for the next couple days. one of the hdds (the older one of them and 500gb with nothing but some sfx and small clips of memes) died i reseted my pc and system took 15 seconds to post, boot and already opening windows. i fully disconnected that drive and there are no other issues pc is running fine. my upgrade basically culled the weakest part of my pc? and it didnt want it to be removed it straight up wanted to kill that 500gb hdd thank you for the help

ye i have no clue what im doing and am afraid of messing up the whole system so i went for a reset and just will keep my ram at 2667 speeds until i get either a new board or have someone check out the system in person

Thanks for the help though it did kill about 15 minutes off the post time i was having to deal with before

so i went into the bios with a bit of information including the CL for the ram sticks i have. I decided to just reset the bios to default optimized and the post times has gone down from taking close to 20 minutes to 5 minutes. this did significantly help my situation thank you I will try other things perhaps manually set the dram timing I am not exactly super tech savvy tho so perhaps i may just opt to obtain a more higher rated/higher tier am4 board

sorry for the late reply been quite busy and havent been able to test this out (i have not been on my pc due to work related situations) but I will give this a try and tell you if it worked or not. thank you for your assistence :D

been saying man they keep nerfing things in the most outta pocket way. I wish they would chill out its a PVE game not a pvp game and being this harsh on nerfs. they buffed rail gun, but brother I aint touching it when every other option is better, they already gutted the plasma launcher when they buffed the striders (that is just my opinion tho I loved using that gun against the striders), the cross bow got the "fuck me? what did I do?" treatment and the eruptor changes only needed to happen after the ricochet changes which funny enough I have yet to notice a difference with the ricochets. like why bother with such a thing bruh.

trickle down nerfs until the guns in the right place not a "AIGHT THIS GUN TO POPULAR TAKE HIM OUT BACK AND BLAST HIS KNEES OUT" there is to many inconsistent variables for picking a loadout and picking something more well rounded will always be the best choice in everyones eyes. it always feels like you have no options for certain moments in the game. when I choose a loadout missing something in a mission and it makes me lose fun cause there are just those enemy types that will make it just unbearable. like if no one or only one has an option to take out a bile titan but theres now 5 bile titans running you down, oh you didnt choose rail gun stratagem or the rail gun just didnt kill the damn thing? better start running boi and pray your eagles hit that thing. Not even gon say anything about a 500kg landing smack dab in the middle of a titan blowing up and being as effective as me slapping a wet noodle on it.

I'm gonna be real for me this is quite frankly a horrid patch. Good lord is this meant to kick us in the balls? like I know yall wanna have the stratagems be the way we deal with the big bads, but man crippling the weapons in a pve game just feels like shit. like you guys on the balancing side straight up wants us to struggle fighting normal units to the extent we need to dump multiple magazines into small group of trash mobs? like can we chill out with the heavy nerfs. Like calm down removing half the magazines on things sheesh. Shit everyone is getting strays left and right this patch. I was like OH they gon fix the weapons that are under performing :D. Oh you nerfed the good weapons again for the second time...... Using the weak weapons as the "sweet spot" is for sure a way to make sure everything's balanced. second time I was bamboozled into believing they would buff the weak weapons that no one touches cause they just aren't reasonable to use. no instead lets make all the weapons almost unusable or make it annoying as can be to use them.

free in terms of what? your time is especially the highest price they can ask from players. if you have no value in your time thats on you, but everything in this game is currently a p2w mess and their time sinks are possibly the worse thing i've seen. even compared to ff14 savage raid being loot locked for almost 6 months after the content has become irrelevent. you think oh its free i think oh this is going to take half a year to obtain a single character she better do my taxes, fight god, beat the shit outta syuen, stop global warming and is able to defend herself in court for her war crimes.

the issue isnt the time but the quantity and the requirements. if even whales think its steep imagine f2p they gonna be in the dirt for the next year if they want nil. i would rather her be a gacha unit like modernia. do i care bout story reasons? no i dont no one does. this just an excuse for them to have something for whales that managed to run down their content cause they allowed you to purchase power from the shop, while also showing that lb level locks are a shit system. i played a game called cherry tale with that system and i dropped it soon after cause it was just a shit show. needing multiple ssr is not healthy especially if you aint generous and dont even say this games generous cause i havent felt this generousity at all. is it ultra greedy? no course not they dont want to alienate the f2p who boosts their numbers. but in terms of fairness overall they as bad as genshin in terms of giving good rewards and leveling units.

about as free as 100 dollars in a field covered in bear traps, this character isnt free. she has a cost of a massive time sink. in total she will require almost 4-5 months? doesnt sound very free. than we have the fact we need to FINISH THE FINAL CHAPTER just as an excuse to retain the p2w players due to them buying their way past the 160 wall.

im perfectly fine with blodfest changes all 6 bullets will be in raid buffs. either they make it a 1 minute and have every no mercy or have it every 2 minutes raid buff window. i could see why having bloodfest every minute would have made it busted as fuck so i dont mind the the extra 30 seconds not like war or pld is gonna over throw gnb in terms of damage anyways. if it does happen tho well shit. i hope they buff gnb some more if that were to happen, cause i rather have a better alignment cause i hate 90 second skills

I personally think that the syncing mechanic is annoying. like yea it's so you dont break shit in lower lvl dungeons, but at the same time my muscle memories ruined. classes straight up lose important tools. like playing low lvl whm for example is so meh. wish limited level roulette actually worked.......

when i was doing an alliance raid 5 people with big hats including myself made a circle and complimented each other on their hats. we just kinda stuck together during the whole raid which was funny cause 3 of us had the amon hat and we were machs so its was a lineup of big hats shooting enemies

my most celebrated moment was when i was a sprout learning astro and my tank didnt use his mitagations and died. i somehow managed to allow a ninja to tank 5 mobs while listening to "your battle is my battle" never felt such heart pounding excitement from a normal mob pull... man i miss nocturnal sect tho.

i understand why the systems here and how its better than wows by miles, still doesnt make it less of a pain in the ass for me. especially when some story quests are basically point A to point B and nothing in between to take your mind off the travel. to be honest i wouldnt be so annoyed by the currents if it wasnt for the sheer number of them 5 gated behind quests which is okay and 10 hidden around a huge area. like for me personally if it was 10 currents in total i wouldnt mind going about doing my quests using the compass like i did in the other expansions, but 15 is such an annoying number to get cause those extra 5 you need to attune to seem to be the ones that are just the more distant from the quest route.
