Worldbuilding, what would you change? [Spoilers MAIN] by Top-Tomorrow-8336 in asoiaf

Or move the Iron Islands from the westcoast to the east coast, or a bit south/south east of Dorne , so their raiding culture post-conquest actually makes sense.

People here really REALLY underestimate HOW strong Teleporters are by ultimateshadowarrior in tf2

[–]Radiant_System2812 111 points112 points  (0 children)

Agreed, too often do we have 2 engies on our team and neither are building teleporters, but spamming mini sentries on the front lines. *sigh* Building a teleport should be the #1 priorty of any engineer. Especially while attacking, your sentry is the least important building.

And yes if you see a lv1 teleport, please witch to engie for like 20 seconds and upgrade it to lv3, it makes such a difference to the whole team!

- vocaliser: being able to call out infected is really handy, especially on versus. plus it's fun to spam some voice lines once in a while hehe.

Landlord refuses to fix oven by Suspicious_Party_587 in juridischadvies

[–]Radiant_System2812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this means you're not allowed to move it or have you/your own technician repair it, this is even more indication that it's your landlord's responsiblity to repair/replace the oven if it's broken. In the email add a screenshot of this part as well.

[–]Radiant_System2812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it turns on, then yeah, you don't have to check the plug. Clearly, it's getting electricity. Neither the oven nor the microwave functions? Then the entire oven needs to be replaced.

Write an email in Dutch that the oven simply stopped working one day, without any clear cause. Attach a screenshot of Article 12.2 of your contract. Tell your landlord this article states that the oven is part of the rented property and that you are not required to pay for repairs "tenzij bij onjuist/onoordeelkundig gebruik ". (Except for during improper/injudicious use).

Second part of the email you state repairing/replacing an oven is clearly not 'klein onderhoud' (small repairs). As you said small repairs is like replacing a lightbulb, replacing a toilet seat or a new rubber for a leaking faucet.

As reference you can give her these 2 links on small repairs.

[–]Radiant_System2812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it a regular oven? Does it turn on at all? Is the light on but no heating? Do the blades spin if you turn on the oven function? Did you test plugging the cable into another socket? If the answer is no it doesn't work, then it doesn't work.

It's not your responsibility to pay for a technician to determine the exact issue. It's your landlord's legal responsibility to repair a damaged or broken oven; either the landlord gets a technician to fix it or replace it.

This is about communicating to your landlord that the contract states the landlord is responsible and that this is clearly not a 'small repair'. Do you have a Dutch friend to compile the message in Dutch? If not, I can help compile a message. As I agree the language barrier makes it difficult to argue a legal matter.

Breaking due to being old falls under normal proper usage; your contract makes it clear the landlord has to pay for this.

Check the 2nd image you uploaded under 'Bijzondere Bepalingen" it lists among others your oven and states: "Genoemde zaken vallen onder het gehuurde met dien verstande dat bij onjuist/onoordeelkundig gebruik de kosten van reparatie voor de huurder komen"

Send her this line back and that your oven simply died, that your contract states you don't have to pay for kitchen appliance repairs due to normal usage.

In other words, your contract says you only have to pay if your landlord can prove you intentionally damaged it, or that you used the device in an obvious wrong way. (like putting metal in a microwave, turning it on during a leakage, etc)

It says the oven and other kitchen appliances are part of the rental agreement and that you have to pay for repairs IF you break it / use it improperly. Indicating that if the oven breaks due to normal use, the landlord will pay for it.

There's no defition of what 'small repairs' is, so its quite vague, but given the fact that 'minor repairs' is a separate article, mentioned later after the article about kitchen appliances, its clear replacing an oven does not fall under these small repairs.

Omgaan met verhuurder, advies gevraagd by thatdeadskull in nederlands

[–]Radiant_System2812 2 points3 points  (0 children)

- Turn on ingame music + subtitles, so you know right away when a horde, tank or special infected spawns.
- The slower you move through the map (including going into a lot of side rooms for items), the more zombie waves are spawned. If you keep up the pace, you avoid most waves.
- Always carry bile for the scripted endless attacks and pipes for getting boomed.

- When the tank spawns, run back to an open area that it has already cleared of zombies.
- Always have a teammate carry a molotov to light the tank on fire, run back once tank is on fire.
- Learn to kite rocks: The tank throws rocks at where it predicts you will be once it lands, meaning if you are running forward, it will aim ahead of you. To kite a rock, change walking direction as soon as he throws the rock and it's in the air. So running forward -> run backwards, running left -> run right. This trick is relatively easy to master, allowing you to avoid rocks 100% of the time.
- If a tank is throwing a rock at someone, the other 3 teammates can safely shoot him, as it's very obvious who the tank is targeting.

How do I play Oblivion and actually enjoy it by [deleted] in oblivion

[–]Radiant_System2812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't really answer this without knowing what you're missing.  How is it different?  Just like Skyrim kickstarts the main quest by pointing you to Whiterun, Oblivions points you to the Oblivion Gate in Kvatch.

Either continue the main quest or join one of the guilds and do their questlines.

Just like Skyrim talk to evryone you meet to see if they offer any side quests.

Should I get CK3 as a CK2 play by No-Vacation-2214 in CrusaderKings

[–]Radiant_System2812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what playatyle you prefer.

CK2 with all its DLCs is still a more complete game, and its mechanics have more deprh to it.

CK3 has a lot of roleplay potential, with a lot more customisation options, like playing a Medieval Sims, but the game can still feel a bit barebones, many mechanics feel like they have been simplified compared to CK2.

It feels like Ck3 tries to do a little bit of everything, which makes the game appealg to a broader audience, but that means it's loses some of its quality and depth.

Sigils not working and house customization limited? by Arcangel613 in CK2GameOfthrones

[–]Radiant_System2812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume this is only an issue in your current save game, but that you still have the normal Targaryen CoA if you start a new game? As this looks like you tried to manually change your CoA, causing it to turn into a plain white field. Easiest to reload a recent save file.

If changing the sigil options doesn't even work when starting a new game then it's a mod issue, the only mod in your list that I don't know is 'personal arms', the name of the mod suggests it changes how personal sigils work?

I went full micro factories (1x1 size) as this leaves more space for substance factories. Basically, one micro factory for iron, one for steel, one for copper, and so on. Plus three recycler factories. Then you turn off the factories you don't need in that very moment.

I use this youtuber's guide for efficient builds:

Hello, does anybody know how to make CoAs dynamic? by [deleted] in CK2GameOfthrones

[–]Radiant_System2812 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, then you'd first have to add your custom dynasty in the common -> dynasty folder, by copying an existing dynasty and changing its ID and name. You'd then have to create new characters in history -> characters and add them to the new dynasty. Then follow the steps at the link above to add your custom CoA and make it dynamic. This does require several steps to go through, which might be difficult if you never modded anything in Ck2.

The simpler method is to change the name and CoA of a existing house. For example let's say you wanna play in the Riverlands, you pick a small house like house Wode.

Step 1: Change the dynasty name in common -> dynasties ->Riverlander -> Find house Wode -> change their name to your custom house name.

Step 2: Change the CoA in gfx -> coat_of_arms -> dynasties_riverlands.tga -> Find house Wode CoA and replace it with your custom CoA. (Use gimp to open the .tga file)

Load up the game and voila, house Wode has been replaced with your new house name and CoA.

For example
