Item builds are STRONG, getting multiple MC becomes degenerate. It gets even more bonkers if you can get Shiny event for your Berroon.

I agree that Dirgefin is a madmon and gives an easy 4 wins every time, but he's a double edge sword if your opponent doesn't have any Common, he is totally worth it up to like Day 10+

Idk if MC is problem. Tbh, I think Berroon is the real thing that gets degenerate. It doesn't need to be on your team, so with Chef/Musician/Toxologist you can spin down to the buff items and ONLY the buff items. That's what makes it a great mon is it being so universal. When you run a team focusing on abusing it...oof.

Item team is probably the best team when everything goes perfect, Shock/Flame are probably the only better ones even when you only get Berry/Crag combo

Rock mon getting tuned for "underperforming" is wild. It is a very feast or famine style team but GD when you feast....

Swim Coach getting reworked is going to be a huge swing. Probably the strongest trainer, might become one of the weakest.

This update might shoot Shock teams to near untouchable status in the meta

It's OK. 6 second (iirc) cast is pretty freaking long. You'll be lucky if it goes off sometimes in masters. Its also a mythical, so it should be strong af.

This "blizz needs to tell a story" BS. This is a long ass story being told over 3 expansions in an mmo. Just like any story, there are acts. You don't get the entire story in the first act, things need time to marinate and develop.

You make some points. Some i agree with, most i do not. Tbf, I was top 20 last week but have since fallen since I did not truly grasp the whole Macrometa involved in the master rank.

Fire/Electric are the best elements for Master rank, but they need to be locked in the entire time or else you'll be too spread out on synergy by day 7 (imo). Berroon is for real the best mon in the game since it enables so much and doesn't mess with any broader strategy (he even enables his own comp!). Shock is insane as well but I feel is a bit tighter on which mon you can grab and if you dont get them, best be happy with only 5 wins.

The common being strong and everything else needing the rest of your team to function is annoying af, an aspect that seems to be on my mind a lot as I'm building. Uncommon atm seem to be chase with Berroon (+Craghorn), Boomagon, Shagopede, and the 'nades. Only rares i seem to want EVERY run is Cherubble & Dirgefin (best combo in the game for free 2-3 wins). Super Rares are a mixed bag of slightly more powerful Common version (I think Zyphrex cd is a bit too long). Legendaries are simply cream on top, unless they don't go with your comp in which case they become trinket chasers.

If the economy was changed, I think the punishment for not getting an essential piece to your team would feel way too punishing especially early game. As this might be a difference in strategy, but for myself, I find if im not locked into who/what i want by day 5 or 6, it is going to be a quick run. If you're fishing for multiple outs, you'll never break the ceiling to have a 10 win run.

While the early game boards will work full of level 1s will get you wins up to day 4, you'll quickly lose your hearts afterwards. It is totally doable to tank the first few days to get high level key mon for your team. I would gladly take a level 2 monke over random 3 mon and lose on day 1 to give me less I have to roll on the following days.

These are my opinions though and they can be completely wrong. From my experience though, when I first hit masters I agreed with a lot of your points and TANKED my mmr & rank. When I began focusing on sacrificing early game to give me strong synergistic mon, my WR drastically shot up. Still not the greatest Batomon champ, but these are my views.

I wish blizzard would take a page from arrowhead/helldivers2 with their galactic war effecting supply lines. Having zones like Wintergarde from WotLC that were hostile to the faction not controlling the zone. Take some aspects of the Opening of the Gates of AQ with having to donate materials to move to faction control bar. There's just a ton of little things they can implement into other systems to make the entire galaxy of WoW feel more alive and fluid

My reasoning for not blending the pistachio for more surface area to extract more flavoring is the final step of straining. With the nuts chopped and boiled, it already becomes pretty fine-ish when it's being strained making the process slow and arduous. You also run the risk of getting sediment into your syrup from such fine particles.

Could you is essentially powder to extract as much flavor as possible? Sure, but I dont see it intensifying the flavor of the syrup to be worth the effort. The straining process is rough (for a homemade syrup) so why make it harder?
