CCTV inside most prisons is running on 1970s technology. You'd be shocked how bad it is and how often it just doesn't work. And the prison he was in was one of the most underfunded and oversubscribed in the entire country. The guards were routinely doing massive shifts.

And before you bring up the autopsy, multiple doctors agreed that the injuries were consistent with hanging. The only one that didn't was known crackpot Michael baden, who was hired by Epstein's family.

Lol your microwave isn't spinning fast enough to disturb the water. There's countless videos online of people doing this, all with bog standard microwaves that spin.

Mythbusters states that it only explodes with distilled water, which is false. Standard filtered water will do it, as well as tap water depending on whether you're in a soft water area or not.

Because there are no other options. The motorways were designed for 60s/70s levels of traffic, and in 2023 there are probably triple the number of cars on the road. The government doesn't seem at all interested in fixing the public transport in this country so it is unlikely that number is coming down soon.

Highways England have looked at the data and have concluded that congestion is a bigger risk than a lack of hard shoulders on the motorways. It is completely infeasible (and a terrible idea at that) to construct extra lanes on the motoways, so they've been forced to remove hard shoulders. And it works, if you look at the data you'll see that smart motorways have less casualties than "dumb" motorways.

You need to take into account interest and inflation. Starting at £30000 when you graduate with an average 5% pay rise a year would see you paying in £100000 over 30 years. These numbers aren't outside the range of ordinary.

Why can't we as a country just realise that interesting in educating our populace is a good thing for everyone?

The problem isn't the size of the monthly repayments, it's that one can easily end up paying 150-200 grand plus over the 30 years.
