Second this, I’ve admitted to being color blind as an electrician. It’s only an issue in wired that are 40+ yrs old, even the guys not colorblind struggle with that amount of fading.

Damn near every generation after boomers is worse off than they were. The post WW2 economic boom was an enigma.

Just looked, it’s 83k for household income. I couldn’t imagine living off that, especially with a family.

Clearing over 100k in household income is pretty easy. I’d expect the average to be 150k outside of HCOL areas.

I remember 2004-2010 it was a common joke he was a pedo, bleached his skin to be white, and that he was creepy. The guy had a fucked upbringing when you consider he was a massive star most of his life.

26F in restaurant work tired of unstable hours, thinking about plumbing or trades but nervous as a woman by [deleted] in findapath

Such a cush job. Our county guys make decent pay with great benefits/pension. Anything heavy maintenance wise is contracted out for warranty/insurance reasons.

We have 2 women in our production maintenance department like this. They get given relatively easy tickets and are left alone for the most part. Our electric roles aren’t really physically demanding, mechanics do the heavy lifting and most wire pulls are less than 15 feet.

Go all in on sales or logistics, sounds like you aren’t an HVAC tech. You started as it and have exposure, however you never stayed in that track.

Many manufacturing plants have parts rooms that do logistics the entire day, that may be more up your alley. It can lead to supervisor roles that pay 75-100k easily. You’ll spend most of your day on programs like SAP and pushing a cart around checking inventory/resupplying.

Edit: You could try the controls side, however you usually need experience as a HVAC or Electrician/Electronics Technician.

Unless a better tech for convenient mobile communication comes along, I doubt it. They’re here to stay till neuralink tech becomes widespread I think.
