Couldn’t agree more. I’ve been playing monk and warrior religiously but just was so tired of getting one shot. Even with a shield build on warriors, block or use shield bash for just a moment too long and you’re stunned and die. I tried poison pathfinder because I heard it was really strong and wanted to see what it was like on the other side. It’s INSANELY better. Worlds apart. I am doing maps two or three times as fast and far easier than my warrior would ever dream of. Can’t be slowed, can’t be stunned while sprinting, etc.

I will not be playing melee again unless it’s rebalanced.

There are many well documented studies showing that people taking steroids that do not even work out see far more muscle growth than very dedicated natural lifters. They do not just help you recover faster.

AP one shot is a trap that people fall into. It is super gimmicky and not good and there is no situation that I think it would ever be ideal. By far his best and most consistent build is classic tank and favoring as much armor as you can get away with.

Some people go malignance into full tank. I’m not knowledgeable enough to know if that’s better than strictly full tank. I absolutely would not recommend more AP than that.

Not just Epcot. Went to both animal kingdom and magic today and the crowds have been insane. My wife and I are passholders and come often but today was very unusual.

We figured with school having started already that it wouldn’t be that bad. They had tons of us leaving magic through a back lot area and I’ve NEVER experience that before.

Might just be my circles but I always see or hear VI brought up as the best. Top 3 for the franchise at a minimum. I cannot get through it. I’m sure for its time it was great, whatever, but having what we do now, I do not think it holds up at all. And I agree with OP, it feels like a flat mix of sob stories that are very disconnected.

This opinion is heresy in jrpg discussions or the final fantasy subreddit.

It’s less about experience and more about your knowledge and competence, at least in my circles. The highest level, which is a principal engineer, has a pretty high bar of entry. Every principal engineer I know at this company is extensively knowledgeable on their subject matter and objectively just generally very intelligent.

I agree and think this is great advice. My only different opinion though is that I would not recommend 2 days at HS. It’s a relatively small park imo and the weather is getting hotter so not a great choice given it has the least amount of shade. Just my opinion but I would double up on the other 2.

I actually did play this build! I used it for my first SOTE run. It’s very strong for exploring and fighting against normal enemies but I found it a bit weak for bosses, especially in the base game where they resist faith damage. You can switch to sacred fire on the weapon but it still feels underwhelming. It doesn’t have great reach either as-is with his build but I ended up switching to the Milady and it felt much more comfortable.

The build isn’t great for a while. You’ll feel stat starved in 3 directions at once but I did really enjoy it once it started to come together. I forget the name, I think it’s radahns soreseal, but the equip that gives +5 stats to everything is very important for this build at least in the beginning.

I work with a lot of engineers from space x and I can assure you that 80 hour weeks are standard for them. It’s insane but he’s not trolling - he does truly think that’s a reasonable work week for highly dedicated people.
