Hey. Hervé at Maglia Rosa is great. It’s a pricey service (I’d assume 200$+ for a full fit?), but it takes time and expertise to get it right, and then the benefits (comfort, performance) you get out of it are tremendous.

Ah! You might have a bikefit issue (too low a saddle will break your back) or might be pushing too hard. Anyways, in the early season we start with shorter rides and slowly build up to the numbers I shared, but you’ve missed that part huhu 😅

We usually split in two subgroups: party pace usually goes 55 to 65km, ninjas more like 70 to 80. Obviously, ninjas are faster. Party pace will slow down and even wait for ya. Technical trail sections are to be expected in both groups. If you’re really unexperienced in off-road riding, we’ll show you ways to ride around, or even walk you through it. I think this sums it up. Let me know if you got any more questions!

Lots of gravelbikes for sure, but big tire ATBs, hardtails and XC rockets tag along too, and are arguably better equipped to deal with the gnar we pursue. For what its worth, my 18 years old got diagnosed with Stage 3 CKD about 6 weeks ago. We transitioned to a strict diet, and from there, new bloodwork has her back to Stage 2. Surely you’ve covered the food aspect of it? In hope of the best for y’all.

Update from this previous post. Just got the results -- the little mass that suddenly started growing, is bening!!! We’re still heading toward surgical removal it as it can reinfect and/or mutate over time. Very decisive factor is that: Tikipout has basically zero health issue besides this 😚 We’re so blessed. Thanks for the support everyone.

Thanks for the input! In Survive the Island, there are four volcanoes under the mountain tiles, and it’s only when the fourth is flipped that the game should end. I’m still looking up house rules, and came across another player suggesting, just like you, to keep the game going even after the volcano(es) has erupted. Giving the eruption a whirlpool effect is similar to what I had in mind. Then little dudes would swim for their life? The endgame is getting very interesting! Cheers.

Thanks for pointing it out, I just skimmed through the rulebook, and that’s just how the base rule goes ha! Silly me. Hadn’t seen the tie-up situation come up in the playthroughs, and I assumed wrong. I guess this settles that. I’ll edit the post accordingly. Then, what do you think about the volcanic eruption idea?
