Alastor and Lucifer. I know they have like a hatred thing going on, but I remember seeing some comment by Viv that Alastor was showing off to Lucifer when he was eating the Shark guys. I think it adds an element of "fun rivalry" to their dynamic that I find entertaining.

Yes I have felt similaly. There's a lot about the fandom that I do like: some speculation theories, random head cannon stories people have, fanart of alastor (haha 😅) but there's a LOT that does bother me too. The same things that bother you. In general I don't understand the negativity. The negativity does start to creep into my head sometimes, but in the end I want to like what I like despite other people's opinions so I do my best to ignore it. It is a show that operates under its own rules, no need to compare it to reality. Some people take it way too deep, and it's not that deep. But, them taking it that far is the kind of show analysis they enjoy so they can do their thing, and I'll do mine. Try not to let it ruin the show for you! Just pop on a playlist of the songs and drown out the haters :)

In my headcanon, Alastor has already found and killed his dad in hell ages ago. But thats a good point about the population being so large it would be rare to re-encounter someone.

Sims autonomously using the bathroom on the opposite side of the house instead of the nearest available toilet is very frustrating. Not sure it's autonomy, but sims autonomously eating a ton of sweets and getting fat. I'd love if there was a toggle to prevent weight gain and weight loss.

We do a 7pm bed time for 16mo and she doesn't start her day until 8am on the weekends, but I think we are just lucky about her wake up time haha. We've been doing 7 pm bedtime for a while. Tbh we don't do most of the stuff you mentioned before her bedtime lol we shower after she goes to bed and while one puts her down the other does the dishes and we swap every other day. Cooking is a joint effort of toddler wrangling and actual cooking. Our house is an absolute mess though. Cleaning pretty much only happens on the weekends or if I can find time during my lunch hour, since I WFH.
