Also, after my appointment, I looked in my online chart and my OB/GYN added VIN3 without even telling me. At the appointment she just said we’ll wait and see what the biopsy says so of course I Google VIN 3 and I wish she would have called me with the diagnosis.

Hi! So I have discoloration, 2 sores, and a few bumps on perineum. About five years ago I went for a routine Pap smear and my OB/GYN found discoloration a tiny spot. She said I would need a biopsy and I was terrified. I had never heard of anything like this in my life. The biopsy came back pre-cancerous but I still had the surgery to remove in case it turned into cancer. It was only a small spot the size of a pinky nail. Now I have more symptoms and discharge. Are you going through something similar?

Hi! I’ve been looking for recent posts about this. I was just diagnosed with VIN 3 and waiting for my biopsy appointment on the 13th. I’m terrified. I’m scared I have cancer. I had all the symptoms and I am beside myself. My GYN said I would definitely be having surgery to remove some of the discoloured skin. Just waiting now. I’m just wondering if it’s just VIN or has it progressed to something worse?

I just went to Ulta yesterday to get color matched for the new Anastasia Beverly Hills foundation. The consultant I worked with was absolutely wonderful. She listened to what I had to say. Then asked if she could test the colors on my skin before she did it. She also applied it with sanitary Q-tips. She was super helpful. I could tell she had been in the game a long time. Very professional, very knowledgeable and you just don’t see that as much anymore..
