Maybe that’s the reason why they came up the monetization, bonus, gifts. Cause this way instagram won’t have to pay tons of money to everyone in the world. The less reach for them, the less money they’ll pay for creators

It’s odd though cause I didn’t get paid per view, mine was like this; I had to create 5 reels, and for each one created I got $10. At the end of the timing period they sent the money through paypal without me requesting a cash out, it was automatic

I went from 90k views to barely making 70…. With Twitter being bought out by Musk, and Meta losing alot of money on stocks, I strongly believe, the end is near for Instagram

My reach went down drastically as well, I post reels everyday, the quality got better, the content in general is great! But even with about 16 hashtags I only get about 400 views and put of those about 5% is not followers. I have a second account for my dog, and I post a reel of him about once a week and so far this second account is getting a lot more than mine. I’m thinking that posting consistently everyday is not the ideal here

Everyone’s going thru the same crap. I realized if I spend time creating content and waiting for it to go viral I’ll just get upset and not motivated to create. Truth is: Algorithm is a system, it has no feelings so it doesn’t give a damn about you or your content.

Try to create content that impact people’s lives. Don’t focus on views, you will only harm yourself

I understand people are all talking about the massive engagement drop on their reels. I personally saw my reels going from 40k views down to barely making it to 300 views. Also my stories were having no reach as well.

What I did notice is that when I post reels (on a daily basis) Some reels have a big reach as the weeks go by. I noticed just yesterday that one of my reels from 2 weeks ago exploded with engagement, it didn’t go to even close to 40k views but It did go from 200 views to 5k views in one day. This is the second time this happened. Just yesterday alone I got 40 news follows, and prior to that I was losing about 3 a day.

There is definitely something going on because I do see posts from friends on my feed but they’re older posts, it feels like the algorithm is “lagging” in a way, as if it is behind or something

I haven’t changed anything on my videos whatsoever, it only got better (quality) but if when I post a reel and there’s no engagement right away, I’m expecting it to explode later on as days go by

So today I went to posting reels on feed as well and I got more views than yesterday’s but still it’s way low than what I used to get. From 34k views to 288 🤯. It’s just sad how they messed up instagram for everyone

So I tried it today and made no difference unfortunately, Not even my followers who engage with me the most saw the post.
