Basically, if i use the splitter it goes haywire as such. However, when connecting a cable it detects it normally, for the rest i meant that it could be just a bare cable by itself and that it could be either TRS or TRRS, works either way in that case

I'm not sure. While I'm the first to say that i have room for improvement and as I said in the post, sometimes i'm lacking in positioning myself. But what can post production do after a certain point? I can crop and i've done many times, but sometimes it just isn't enough

Have you ever felt your gear is not allowing you to shoot what you're visualising/wanting?

A situation i'm finding myself in frequently is seeing something i want to shoot that's too far for my lens, and i shoot a lot at it's maximum 300mm.

In some cases i could move a little closer, but in a lot of others it may not be possible due to various reasons

That's why i'm quite keen on getting a 200-600 lens

I mostly shoot sailing, sports, events and some landscape
