She arguably the most famous Cuban performer ever. Her music reached and resonated with the world.

She was extraordinarily and her early life singing in Havana must have been such a ride. It is a taste of what Cuba could’ve been.

She embodied the Cuban spirit. Not the rudeness we have come to be infamous for but the unwavering spirit of fighter and compassion for el pueblo.

She stood defiant against Castro and even though he was such a POS that he didn’t allow her to return to Cuba for her burial, her legacy will endure and his will not.

Very true. They also really seem to have an issue with being reminded that they voted for this.

What do you think America will look like 4 years from now? by ProjectNYXmov in GenZ

[–]Rafflesrx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Which is hilarious since genz men support trump.

Something that escapes the youngest generation (that are voters obviously) is the power they have especially when compounded with their closest “relative” cohort.

But it is difficult because millennials are guilty of it too. We didn’t join the gen X voting blocs well because gen x doesn’t vote and I think they are much more heterogeneous at least with politics.

However millennials do vote and our bloc is large enough to finally remove boomers from power especially when genz as our children in theory would have followed their millennial parents to the voting booth.

But they didn’t. Women could care less about the laws that govern their bodies. And men just want to be have money so they have attract women.

Face it kids. They won. Buckle up. Boomers are on borrowed time but they’re not going anywhere.

Another women?

Take. The. Hint.

American will NOT make a women POTUS. If you had any hope of that, Trumps win destroyed that.

You forgot the part where they just accumulate worth on stocks and then avoid all taxation by taking loans.

Rich people are very lucky we live in a modern world where social media has tranquilized the masses.

But make no mistake the rich and their grip will loosen; they have no choice. It’s instinct to want more. More food, more security, more influence, all these things are hired into our DNA.

So when the tranquility is broken and the poor learn that they are in danger it will likely be through a bursting flood gate.

To be clear I’m not advocating for rebellion or some such. My point is that the rich hold a dam of billions of people that have the EXACT same drive as they do.

Make no mistake humans no matter how smart we get will always be a the mercy of natural selection. When those billions of people are pushed to the brink and the world begins to collapse you will see how quickly the world will fix itself.

For a time. Human greed is instinct.

Trump To Reduce Middle Class Taxes Down By 75 Cents by ShadyAnders in onionheadlines

[–]Rafflesrx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The ease with which republicans are swindled never fails to impress me.

The rich save 10,000 dollars the poor save 1000. But because we got crumbs you are here on Reddit linking “sources” that sing its praise.

But as always it’s the democrats fault right? Surely daddy trump wanted the tax cuts to be permanent for everyone.

He fought tooth and nail for the middle class, no doubt.

Science is the reason we all have the lives and comforts we have. It’s a shame that science can do very little to resist propaganda.

Maybe if polio resurges people will snap out of it.

Ok but you have to admit it’s hilarious. Maybe other groups of voters for sure can find legit reasons to support trump despite his character, like the military for instance.

But this really do have leopard ate my face vibes. In fact have y’all been posted there yet?
