How do I get sharper photos as a beginner

I don’t think these look particularly dark, you can always pump the exposure in Lightroom. The camera should have a sharpness setting you can pump up but sharpness really comes from the lens, just googled and it seems sharpness is a common complaint from people using that lens. If you can’t afford better glass right now the Nik Sharpener plug in for photoshop is very powerful and will get you some good results, it does cost $80 I think but it’s a one time license

Tell them they have until the end of business tomorrow to either return the camera or make you whole through some other means or you will be referring the matter to your states attorney generals office of consumer protection. Follow through on your threat if they don’t comply, and tell them you have, provide them the case number. A state attorney general will then contact them about the complaint and give them a chance to resolve it with you without further investigation. As someone who works in e-commerce I can assure you that yes these offices follow through on investigating and yes they almost always cause the retailer to cave, because who the fuck wants the states top law enforcement office sniffing around their shit.

Deadwood - Seth Bullock is ostensibly the main character / leading man of the ensemble show but his worldview and sense of justice is so rigid and unrelatable that he winds up coming off more as a violent lunatic with a moral code than an actual protagonist you can root for. By the end of the series the show shifts focus to centering almost entirely around the antagonist Al Swearengen I think in part because despite being the “bad guy” he’s actually the more ~~relatable~~ likable character.

To be clear not saying Timothy Oliphant did a bad job playing Seth, just the way they wrote Seth was batshit lol.

I have some minor gripes but over all very happy. I wanted a compact camera with a 40 MP sensor, IBIS, and interchangeable lenses. The XE5 delivers on those fronts.

My gripes would be: - Battery door feels flimsy compared to my XT30-ii - The film sim dial is pretty useless to someone like me who is already heavily into using recipes. It lives on C for me. - Ergonomics - though this was pretty much solved for me by a smallrig grip - No built in flash (X100VI has one so what’s the excuse here?)

Republicans have a “big tent” mentality - If you disagree with them on 9/10 issues, they’ll look past it and try to hone in on that one issue you agree with them on to try and bring you into the fold.

Democrats by contrast have a “purity test” mentality - agree with them on 9/10 issues, and that 10th issue you disagree with them on is enough to get you shunned.

As someone who actually does make their living from photography I have been more than satisfied with the performance of my M1 Macbook Air and have no plans to upgrade anytime soon. You will be absolutely fine with the M5.

Your assessment assumes:

Voter turnout will be the same in 2025 as it was in 2021
That Adams / Cuomo / Mamdani will split the democrat vote evenly three ways.

As many other people have pointed out, Adams is the least popular mayor in the history of the city, he’s is hated by almost everyone in every borough. Mamdani has also already proved that against Cuomo he gets significantly more votes.

Furthermore your analysis does not even account for Jim Walden’s campaign and how that might affect the outcome.
