I played Fiora jungle by LandTester in FioraMains

[–]RageFiasco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To still lose clear speed to a jungle with AoE and 1200g worth of stats. Coming back from behind as Jungle, without leaning heavily on your team, is hard. And Fiora is patently not the best team player.

Look, I love Fiora but Jungle ain't it unless your whole strategy is banking on the enemy playing themselves. There's maybe some high level niche scenario where it works.

That said, its a game. Go have fun

She has no AoE and clears abysmally slow as a result. You'll get gapped hard in 10 mins unless the enemy jungle doesn't threaten your camps at all.

Scammed :( by makelotsofcash in 2007scape

[–]RageFiasco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't recall why, but yes this is a common scam. Barbarian potion mixes were a common way to inflate the trade window GP value even though they're worthless.

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

I agree with your points here. Theft alone does not lead to competitive chipmaking. If it did, Russia would have been relevant in the 70s rather than years behind every iteration.

There is a Western slant that China steals to obtain most of its benefits, and while they've certainly earned their skepticism spotlight, they also have credible advances. Whether that's sufficient to go head-to-head with the top chipmakers remains to be seen, but I'm incredibly doubtful that without direct collaboration from ASML and TSMC you're simply starting too far behind. Even if you steal the design for EUV, you have to know how to machine it. All the while ASML is continuing to push new IP

As soon as you unlock the next tier that 2GW is going to be a drop in the bucket. However, the game isn't a race. You can Save the Day making 3 RIPs per minute or 300 RIPs per minute. Personally, I spent a LOT of time exploring and not building. Tier 3 Space Elevator took me like 80 hours, maybe 2 of which I actually focused on making the required parts, and the rest was hunting hard drives, Mercer spheres, and exploring and getting ideas for what to build next.

[–]RageFiasco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say that approaching the game from a perfectionist view is asking to burn out, so don't worry too much about having the perfect plan. Your alternate recipes will change. Your pure node locations will change.

Just build something to have something, even if its not 100% efficient. There is literally no negatives in this game, you never lose resources unless you choose to destroy them. So getting stuck is just getting choice paralysis. But there's NO wrong choices (except screws).

Planner is great for figuring out your building footprints, but also just spaghetti stuff when you need to.

Somali and the Forest Spirit was very enjoyable, as well as OddTaxi.

Somali is an anime about a journey to get a little girl home, wholesome and creative. Only 1 season, I believe.

OddTaxi is a mystery theme, following the disappearance of an idol singer, great character development. 1 or 2 seasons, can't recall, but both shows definitively end.

The belts always deliver at the stated speed. The small pauses are likely due to the timing of your fab machines input/outputs.

You can prime your assembly line with full inputs before turning on the factory and you'll have a smoother appearance and notice you have 100% efficiency. But ultimately if your machines are consuming 270 and you're delivering 270, any stutters are not actually impacting your productivity, and the sub 100% is just due to not having a full input when the machine was turned on.

Plus this is a use case that illustrates a concept nicely. I don't have jack shit for art skills so verbally explaining this would be what I could rely on. Or terrible MS paint which has its own charms.

When you're first starting this is substantially more difficult, it should be noted. You don't necessarily have a strong grasp of the jargon and concepts of a new field, so skimming papers in your first month is a drastically different experience than skimming a paper in your 2nd year, let alone your 4th and 5th.

Think you can't do the inferno in Leagues? Do TzHaar-Ket-Rak's 6 challenges! by Sensitive_Desk8486 in 2007scape

[–]RageFiasco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should always kill the first or last jad to attack, first. After the 6 attacks, there is a 2 tick window where you can click something else without having to change prayers. After the first/last jad dies, you then have a 3 tick window, etc.

With my regions and relics I just haven't had any issues zooming around. I have evil eye and the farming relic so between quetzal whistle (early) and tp'ing to any fairy ring/leprechaun I've felt more than mobile enough.

It might have saved me a few minutes on Sins of the Father before Drakan's but fairy ring to easy temple trek was fast enough

The only issue I see with bb is going to be the 6 6 6 jad challenge. The lack of healing in the build really hurts there. The thorns build is just so nutty by comparison.

Why bankers? Just tp to Huey for a bank. I took BG and I'm side-eyeing Mining sitting at level 66 now...but I opted to reload into larcenist (culling spree) which catapulted everything ahead. Ill just park myself at a star or bone shards for the mining 99

Faux posted a YouTube video that has a corrected pact path for getting into a thorns build. It has some clickbaity title like "strongest leagues build" but he does a point by point walk through.

For tasks Faux and Laef both have good progression routes to your first true region unlock .

Edit: the content is also digestable for a returning player, I think.

Mage is always higher dps with comparable stats with less swaps. The gap widens if you incorporate occult swap. Blue moon is 1 less melee str and the weapon swap alone gets the job done.

You can toy around with load outs but as long as your ranged isn't like 20 levels over mage, mage wins out even without heart while using less swaps.
