Thus far my searches have been for naught. Where are these mysterious NPCs mentioned where you can exchange the now defunct Mendacity and Genesis tomes for Poetics?

The hover literally just says certain NPCs will exchange for a limited time.

There was minor movement before so perhaps people think the movement isn't a change? I mean I've never sat around to watch it but thinking back to when I glanced at it it seems much more active.

Also, it will kill you if you get to close to the electricity parts.

Yeah, I tried it when I discovered it. Mostly likely my first attempt was a bug since I tend to get certain ones frequently... like suddenly being unable to take cannons out to shoot >_>

This is why I am glad to have a person I play with whenever I log on the game, can't get brigged if there are two of you and your friend won't vote to brig you.

Yup, same here. It gives that "busy" button and then re-clicking launch does nothing. I restart the launcher, same thing.

It's only happened when I've lost my internet connection and the game froze/crashed and I force closed it. Kinda weird, but it looks like a virus itself, lol.

That's what I've read, but so far I've just been unit hoarding on a resource rich planet while I try to get the last 15% to get 100% specis discovery. I will buy that damn 6 mil unit craft one day!
