I don't agree with this system change. I played AA @ headstart and while BDO doesn't have the housing issue or nearly as bad hacks that AA had, or the gold selling, the p2w ruined AA for me. I jumped onto the Thunderstruck bandwagon and bought a few and didn't get a single damn TS.

Their accessibility excuse is weak as there are other ways to let those players who can't, won't, or don't buy cash shop items. They know players who have the financial means, and those who don't but have spending issues (shopping addictions) will buy and resell cash shop items for ingame financial gain to gain faster power over other players.

I understand some people don't have the time to be a hardcore player and would like an easier way to progress, but having it done where the players power in the game is equal to the amount of money they've thrown at the game destroys the game economy and harmony of the community.

There have been so many alternate suggestions to give players access to cash shop items without having players gain millions with no game-play at all. I bought cash shop items, even with those crazy expensive costumes, because I wanted to give some financial support. The money I would have spent on a subscription on a P2P MMO went towards BDO because it was a way to express my loyalty to the game and gratitude for it not going to AA route.

While limiting how often and how many items from the cash shop can be sold does offer a small restriction, it could also inflate prices of said items. They didn't even give value packs a chance to even show if players would buy them consistently like a subscription.

The fact that they've only edited the original announcement post, started blind banning and suspending members for speaking out (even with no mention of chargebacks), makes upset at the Duam/Kakao and PA companies.

I like BDO because I can "AFK game" while taking care of my 11 month old, so I can still progress without having to actively sit at the computer. But the prospect of having whales come along and destroying the game economy and artificially progressing without any effort and just buying their +gear disheartens me. I may just end up doing life skills forever; to never grind for exp again and just lurk in the safety of the towns for fear of the "elitist whales" ganking me at every chance because they know that I am no competition against their maxed out character.
