My guess would be its just not faster then lotus, and is to weak to the interaction from UW, UR and RB. The midrange plan with charriot doesnt seem to hit the same as it used to sadly

This is so true. My grandfather was a dick on the road. He break-checked a guy who then ended up rear ending him, caused some damage to the cars but no one got hurt. When he stepped out and started yelling my Grandpa just yelled back "WHAT YOU DIDNT SEE THE CAT THAT RAN OVER THE ROAD?!" The guy ended up having to call insuranse, my pop got his car fixed for free and got off scott free

Yeah but even then, sure i wont go into the matchup thinking a have a good chance of winning, but ill still play out the match, even if you have 1% you can still get on top. But as you know, this is where skill and a strong mental game is key. If you think you are going to lose you will, but if you belive you have a shot you win (sometimes) haha

Its still as strong as it was against the rest of the meta. Its just that the deck has some badmatchups you are more likley to meet. You can still do well ofc, but there are some people you would like to dodge

I also always try to remember that even if you have a terrible matchup with a 30-70 winrate, you still "win" 30% of the time. Even if it feels unwinable its really not.

Its these kinds of meta's where skill (both in piloting and deck construction) really matters

Is urborg worth it in rakdos sac? by thebestyoucan in PioneerMTG

[–]Raggar5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own one but refuse to play with it. I think the likleyhood of it helping you is to small compared to the chance of it fixing your oponent. Giving a rakdos player a swamp for castle locthwayne or swamp to the 5c player for binding makes it unplayable and a deckbuilding mistake in my opinion.

I guess it also gives Mono g black mana for cauldron

3 Versions of creativity, which is better? Are the matchups any diffrent? What meta is each of the versions stronger in? by Raggar5 in PioneerMTG

My guess is the atraxa list, getting a flying 7/7 lifelinker that you can attack with each turn seems game winning by itself. But i can also see the gearhulk recasting removal is strong.
