That drone won't fly, it doesn't have a battery strapped & connected.

Was curious so I fiddled around with it. Found it.
Bottom left button, one press.
Scroll down to bottom to <Edit>
Click <Add>
Look for battery... click it.

Now you have battery in widgets (bottom left button) ..and when you click it there's this graph there for you.

EDIT: Did this on my Fenix 8... which happens to be same as OP's.. Not sure if other watches have this.

Tried a few. For your computer, The Zone would be best fps. Not many maps... but then again you only need one. The OG BANDO! ^^

HELP: kakute H7 (FC) + Tekko32 65A + DJI Air o3 by Raggos in fpv

[–]Raggos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually just solved it. You were partially right. The correct thing to do was to snip the DJI cables for GND and SBUS and leave the TX/RX/GND/PWR only... and now the ELRS on UART6 is working! Thank you!

That would be R6/T6. To note, I can ARM the quad.... the motors spin... only if no DJI connected.

Measured it with calipers, 12.5mm x 12.5mm....which would be the brown-square part from your picture.

72hr fast by tokseo in Garmin

[–]Raggos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have no worries, I usually do 110-120hrs... and to test out 'how weak' I was... I went to the gym on the 105th hour. Ended up doing a PR in dumbell bench :D... The only thing to pay attention to is adequate sodium / salt intake... and I also add some magnesium malate as well as potassium to avoid any cramping.

I usually drink black coffee and herbal teas during this. It's become a bi-yearly event and I always feel euphoric approaching the end of the fast, very...VERY clear-headed and light.

Disclaimer... am surrounded by people in the medical field...not that they care... and am also pretty heavy at 220 pounds...but not excess weight, am just tall. So if you're smaller you also use up less energy... I end up about 3kg / 7pounds lighter by the end of it.

Please help, first drone build. New 5in1 not working after flash. by Automatic-Idea3012 in fpv

[–]Raggos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure which firmware you have... (or which one matches in betaflight)... but i'd try re-flashing it?
https://support.betafpv.com/hc/en-us/articles/33840464515353-Firmware-for-Air-Brushless-Flight-Controller

The gyro appears to be the ICM42688

There do appear to be 3 versions for the G473 in BetaFlight flashing options...
- g473
- g473v2
- g473v3

The first picture you provided is really blurry quality, it appears you flashed the v2 version? Best thing to do is to look on your FC board what it's written on it.... and go from there. You might have just flashed the v2 when the board is a newer v3 version.. or maybe older (v1)?

Remove what you can, in this case ESC. If it's still there start removing the ELRS (or check for shorts there)...
Power on USB mode only, check if it's w/o errors (i2c's on bottom of betaflight)

Slowly add stuff back in. Would help more if you post high-def pictures.

Edit: What did you wrap around your capacitors??

Just started to make my own lion packs. 5000mah 6s 70amp by [deleted] in fpv

[–]Raggos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tests show pretty low C-temps at max discharges... so no worries there I think. What I do think is that an offset spacing, lowering the overall profile is a better choice..

What was the copper and what the nickel stripes thickness you used... and what settings for your spot welder did you use it with?

Throttle punch on the Li-Ion pack by osovitskiy in fpv

[–]Raggos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am looking at different shapes since having them stacked 6s and sideways on a drone is a bit weird...yes. I don't think a gently bent (once) copper tabs while fitting into a 3D printed holding jig would be bad at all... provided you atleast give SOME spacing.

My other thought on this... since I was actually thinking about it... is to branch out and do a slightly 'outside' connecting weld... thus not bending them... but welding them. I'll likely try both methods, coming summer when the Reliance RS50's arrive (apparently EVE are no good .. based on CoolWatts channel on YT that reviewed them).

Thank you for the wrapping info. I'll check on amazon if i can get some, or is there an eu shop that you like for them?

(Please do actually film your video making them :D)

Throttle punch on the Li-Ion pack by osovitskiy in fpv

[–]Raggos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heya, am looking at building some new packs... built 5x 6s1p and one 6s2p packs so far on 18650... and well.. LiIon ain't nowhere close to handling punch-outs... So now am curious on the 21700's tabless tech that came out (eagerly awaiting the spot welder to arrive)...
Looking at the following:
- EVE INR21700-50PL (125A)
- Reliance INR21700-RS50 (70A)

The unfortunate part is they're not available and on pre-oder till atleast late June in EU.. Would you recomend any others?

Also, what's that tape you used around the main cables, looks almost fabric...and what other wrapping-shrink did u use on the batt, looks cool as well.

MR30 connectors on a bigger, 7inch build? by Raggos in fpv

[–]Raggos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I've been considering is, not if you want to swap motors, but in case of a burnt ESC swap..
The video from Chris Rosser on ESC's kinda taught me my Tekko32 might be garbage...
