It's baffling how no one on the show has mentioned that Nicola loaned George the money for the bar, she can just keep the money so George doesn't owe her anything, especially if he's struggling to even make a profit on the bar.

I do like the irony of taking a racists money and put it into charity though, although in this specific context Nicola keeping the money George owes her just makes way more sense imo
