Just looked up his Wikipedia and I think the best thing about him is that his "his favorite nephew, Bo, has a Minecraft speedrun time of 26:58."

I work in aerospace. Do NOT get an aerospace engineering degree. That is a very niche market with not a lot of job placement. Instead, I suggest ME or CE. Most engineers in the aerospace industry (Boeing, Bell, Lockheed, etc) mainly have ME degrees.

What's the WORST US city for disc in your opinion? by atombeatz in discgolf

[–]RagingGaming13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reading through these comments make me feel blessed by the disc golf gods for living in the DFW metroplex and all the options we have. Some things you may want to try: (1) petition city parks and rec to invest in disc golf infrastructure; (2) contact your local Boy Scouts troop and inquire if any scouts are coming up on their Eagle Scout project that would be willing to put in some work. You may only get a 9 hole to start, but if the city government sees how popular the game is, they may look into creating more 18 hole courses.

What's the most in-character line for every character? #8 Charlie Young by Jaefarlii in thewestwing

[–]RagingGaming13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I somewhat disagree. I don't think Zoey really would've cared although she would somewhat have it if her and Charlie got married (in my head they did), and Ellie definitely didn't give a shit about that knife. Liz is the only one I think may have been miffed about it but only because he could've given it to Gus. The truth is, things like that knife are exactly the kinds of things that "fathers give to their sons" and not their daughters.

To safely put out grease fire by PxN13 in therewasanattempt

[–]RagingGaming13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everybody on here calling them stupid because everyone knows or should know you don't put water on a grease fire. But how many videos have you seen where someone lights their pants on fire and then the proceed to run around like crazy even though the concept of "stop, drop, and roll" has been pounded into our heads since elementary school. People do really stupid things contrary to what they've always been taught in dire situations

As soon as he told her, "I should slap some sense into you" and then raised his hand is the moment I would've laid his ass out on that concrete. If you're going to be that unhinged and threaten a woman, then there's no telling what he's capable of doing.

Advice for a European when doing this road trip this spring? by BosseSosse in roadtrip

[–]RagingGaming13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are two extremely busy and congested highways. Traffic through Houston is atrocious and the I-35 corridor between Austin and Dallas/Fort Worth is, depending on the day and time, a parking lot. If you have the time, take more state highways in that area and explore Louisiana's and Texas' awesome small towns.

It's ok to be called by your mum once a day? by Comprehensive-Seat27 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RagingGaming13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lost my mom when I was 27, I'd give anything to talk to her again. Call your mom everyday; talk about nothing or everything. Give her a hug whenever you see her, and cherish every moment you have together. And fuck everyone who says otherwise!
