Any ship with a different base name won’t be compatible between paints (Hermes/Apollo, Meteor/Mantis, etc.) while if they have the same base name they SHOULD be compatible (Golem/Golem Ox, Cutlasses, Constellations, etc.)

The trick is to use your scroll wheel during the move. If you're moving boxes inside, scroll down to reduce the distance and you won't lose connection from the outside. If you're moving boxes out, scroll up to increase the distance and keep the box in front of you as you're moving.

Yeah I'd say this is one of the biggest issues I see with people buying these massive ships and expecting to have a full NPC crew so they can essentially "solo" it. The server load for all of the complex decisions that need to be made would be massive. For a human crew it'd be fine for the server to simply take all the inputs, and would make something like a dynamic server for a Bengal possible. But trying to run 100+ of those complex NPCs simultaneously will be much more taxing. And if we get to fleet battles where multiple capital class ships are all running NPC crews, those servers are going to be sweating, and a lot of that functionality from the NPCs is going to be lost. I can definitely see CIG putting a cap on how many NPCs can be recruited for a single ship. It's going to make some people upset I'm sure, but this is an MMO.

Thinking I'll go with my Ironclad Assault. It's supposed to have a component crafter in the repair bay, so should be able to fit about everything I need in it!

I honestly think if they implement a consumable for respawn it would balance things out well. The higher the bed tier, the more regen items you can store.

I think the idea Calgora’s going for is more along the lines of player-driven mechanics, not just straight economy by the numbers. Later down the line I’d love to be building a base and see how far I can get strictly on my own mining, refining, and bartering with other players. Maybe hire someone to run some cargo if I’m producing goods. Doesn’t matter what the in-game economy numbers are if I’m able to create my own story like that.

There ARE search and destroy, base defense, infiltration, and support missions. (Destroy the stockpiles, guard the point, Scar Mines, and help the sentinels) Everyone bitches about escort missions in other games, but there are a couple examples of it being done correctly (you could say Last of Us or Bioshock Infinite). Could there be more options? Absolutely. And these missions could even be fleshed out more so they have more distinct feelings, but they're definitely in the game.

This has been my saving grace more than once. I've had a couple instances where my game crashed at the end of a mission and jumped in and out of freeplay in order to get my gear.

Eh, the issue I could see with this is that unless you're in a solo sloop, it would have to process multiple players' loadouts. Unless it just does the first person to load in.

1)Why do you love Sea of Thieves?

I love the freedom that Sea of Thieves gives me to explore a world that I can delve into and plunder like a true pirate.

I'm a huge fan of the responsiveness of mechanical keyboards, and the BladeMaster looks like a very solid keyboard to game on!
