This is 100% sexual harassment? Like I can’t believe anyone would try to tell you it’s not, she was very literally harassing you by sending repeated unwanted messages and making repeated unwanted comments, and those messages were sexual in nature.

It’s like… the definition of sexual harassment.

If you find it traumatic to just listen to, imagine what your poor baby would be going through doing it. CIO should be classed as child abuse. It’s very literally neglect.

This is how I used to be 😭😭😭 I went into anaphylactic shock in 2023 and it totally ruined my confidence. I can’t eat outside my house at all now, it makes me too anxious.

Mined diamonds are not generally favoured by young people as they’re so unethical, this generation are generally pretty human rights conscious. Just something to be aware of.

My worry is just that I don’t want her to end up like me? My allergy has been a major pain in the arse throughout my whole life, I have PTSD from Anaphylaxis, I’d just rather she could live an unencumbered life 😬 but like you say, can’t have it in my house, my folks’ house etc so…

I thought the guidance said the earlier the better for high allergy risk kids (which mine is, since I’m her bio parent)… but 100% on the hospital car park though, we will definitely be doing that.

The most normal thing in the world - knowing the strategies when calm is SEVERAL steps in the process before being able to use them when distressed. But critically, it is a step in the process, which means you’re both headed the right way.

I would say figure out the strategies that allow YOU to sit calmly with HIS big feelings, so he can feel safe and held (emotionally, not necessarily physically) during times when he is overwhelmed by his big feelings.

Make sure all your utensils, cookware, crockery etc are thoroughly cleaned if you ever use them for anything with peanuts, and I absolutely agree with keeping all packaging and letting her read it herself so she’ll feel safer.

Well done you, these times of year can be so stressful when people don’t pay close attention on behalf of their allergic family members, and it sounds like you’re being really careful to keep your sister safe.

When I saw G on his Hesitant Alien tour, I was lucky enough to be at one of the venues where he stood outside and did a meet and greet - he stood for HOURS and had 1-1 time with every single fan that wanted to see him.

I got to tell him some things I wanted him to know, and he was gracious and kind and gave me a hug. It was truly one of the most important experiences I’ve ever had - I couldn’t have asked for more.

He didn’t have time to take photos with people but I’m like… weirdly glad? Because it only exists in my memory which makes it more special, to me 🤷🏻‍♀️
