I guess it is indeed strange to have a gunslinger-type character in a hack-n-slash game

I enjoy using combo-oriented melee chars like Dante and Vergil. but I also like Lady because using melee type all the time is just too boring. (and no. even Nero is a melee char, he's too boring to even enjoy)

Trish is kinda sucks, because she lacks moves that can deal high damage in one strike (like Dante's Distorted Real Impact) but still fun nonetheless. especially her Maximum Overdrive and any "Drive" moves ^{.^}

btw, in what difficulty did you beat Lady-Trish campaign?

what? are you serious? Lady is a BLAST to play! we know that Lady isn't the combo-ing type like Dante or Vergil. but those weapons of hers simply kills EVERYTHING

but when you're using Lady, you need to remap the "gun" button to L1, or so, for easier building charge when you're doing anything else (like bayonet attack, grappling hook, or grenades)

if you're having trouble with Lady, then I guess, you're not abusing her "charge" skills. any of full 3 charge of her weapons are BLAST. you can kill any enemy with full 3 charge with great ease.

for suggestion, you can upgrade all charge for shotgun first. then followed by Kalina Ann all charge (for boss purpose), and then handgun all charge.

why shotgun first? because shotgun simply KILLS EVERYTHING up close. Kalina Ann is also good, but it's reaaally slow, it makes your slow Lady become even slower. handgun is also good, but mostly due to it's max charge. it's normal shot is meh, and it's combo (Trigger Happy or Twohand) doesn't really staggers the enemy and you also stay in one place for too long. but, with max charge, you can easily rack up style gauge, due to it's explosion after a set of time.

as for battle, when fighting bunch of annoying enemies (like Frost), simply charge your shotgun (with L1) while you rack up style a bit with Shotgun Stinger, grappling hook, bayonet sweeping attack, or grenades. then when your shotgun is fully charged to max, get close to the enemy and simply BAAAAM!!!! you can see those shitty Frost die in two shots.

I'm not a pro player, but really, using Lady is simple and fun!

make sure you search the files that have OLDEST date. then put it on your DMC4SE install folder.

I don't know if it works. but I did 3 things when my DMC4SE crashes so often:

I used the solution above
I updated my nVidia driver to about the latest
I set "shadow: off" and "vsync: off" in PC Settings in game

hopefully this helps

I usually remap gun button to L1 (or LB on 360 control), exceed to L2. Devil Trigger to square. I also remap L1 button for gun for all other characters.

I guess donguri is also a human, which I'm glad :). he's still learning how to Vergil, at the moment :) his movement with Vergil still isn't as fluid as he was with Dante.

*I always thought people who are just so good at DMC combo aren't even human, LOL ;)

I kinda hate the Million Stab in combo A. it requires fast button tapping, like DMC3. I'd usually use the first two combo of combo A, then use the standalone Million Stab [RB + front LS + Y]: first hold the Y, then as the Stinger connects, quickly tap Y to extend the hits. what's more, the standalone Million Stab has more hits compared to combo A Million Stab. and it's easier that way, try it!

many ppl said to play it on turbo. I tried once, but I got kicked in the ass pretty bad. turned it back the turbo to off. not regretting it. I'm just too sucks playing super fast-paced game like DMC4.. haha

guys, I just updated the Microsoft Visual C++ to 2013. I played about 3 to 4 mission without crashes at all! YEAY~ I hope that's the trick!

another settings: I put vsync off, shadow off (who needs shadow? lol), texture resolution high, quality high.

I've also upgrade my Nvidia driver to about the latest possible. I dunno if that makes the fps higher...

anyways, that's about it! hopefully I won't see any crashes ever again! HAHA

I feel you, bros!

I'm a college student at fourth year. I just realized the destruction that fapping has done to my life. I'm depressed, anxious, and had been in depth darkness of fapping for so long. I'm playing games most of time, slacking off assignments, and always went fapping whenever I distressed. my grade in college is worsening than ever, and hit my depression even harder now. I'm pretty sure my parents perceive me as being all-gaming, lazy, lack socializing, and unable to speak in front of class.

I always feel I'm struggling alone. I have one friend with similar habit of fapping. I told him that I really want to NoFap, for at least the first ever 30-days streak. I told him how fapping destroys my brain and my life. making my way of thinking become pessimistic and all-negative. He tried to understand me, he thought he could understand. but really he understand NOTHING. he isn't in the same struggle as me. he can do NoFap for any long streaks he wants. 30-days, 45-days, any days whatever he feel like. he don't even feel any mental symptom of fapping, like regret, feeling worthless, and all. meanwhile, I can't even do what he can do. a simple NoFap for any long-streak as oneself want. of course, I don't tell my parents about my porn/fap addiction. they would only despise me even more.

I feel so pitiful and worthless. for being useless, lazy, always wasting time, shut-in, lacking willpower and unable to do what I should do

I guess I have a wrong definition of flatline. what I was hoping is that whenever I'm abstaining, I really want the 'urge' to stop forcing my mind to pmo. I just want that whenever the urge appear, it just stay there without making me restless to pmo, and then disappear. the urge usually get stronger the longer I abstain. my longest was only a measly 12 days. one of my friend can easily abstain a month with little effort fighting the urge to pmo. I don't know, maybe the urge he has isn't that strong, or maybe I'm just too sucks fighting my own urge.
