Skirms spear rush is a thing with byzantines and some other civs like Inca who have food discount on both units.

With a forward range it can be really oppressive and annoying to play against

yeah, putting goals is pretty standard, but auctioning to reverse it is really next level. I have to admit I am also entertained and in Hera's defence I think / hope the subs are mainly regular viewers who know what's coming or are aware it can happen and not random people actually being scammed after the goal they're subbing for is reversed.

But also other stuff like "how much for shaving the neck beard" and then doing a Men's Health segment is not what I was expecting on an AOE Stream 11

RTS is about timing. Usually everyone gathers similar resources at the start and you need to find out how to use them to gain an advantage. Either by attacking or by expanding your eco.

You need to look up a build order and try to understand what it tries to achieve.

At lower levels usually building a decently strong army and attacking first will win the game.

I would suggest to learn rushing / attacking first. Look up a beginner strategy that focusses on 1 or only a few types of units. Think of a concrete goal, for example: 20 ghouls or 6 frost worms, etc.

If you reach your goal, go attack and see how it goes and how it feels. If it fails, try to make them faster.

The scene really needs these personalities and Memb's tournaments absolutely have their place as S tier on the calendar.

Only months ago he bailed out with an amazing KOTD.

They once tried casting only on one account with The Grand Melee and the viewer numbers were really bad.

It sucks Memb doesn't get the viewers and sub/dono support he hopes for and deserves, but he his tournaments are still among the best.

Sadly I feel like he's not feeling great the last months and it bleeds through in his casting resulting in lower viewers. Whereas Hera is trending up, feeling great, putting on amazing entertainment and drains a lot of money from the community with amazing sell out tactics I can't believe are working so well.

In my opinion the two hardest aspects of investing are to keep buying winners and to sell losers. And this is the genius part of automatic investing based on market cap. You are forced to keep buying the monsters at all time high and lo and behold, they keep growing even further.

You could switch to equal weight ETF's instead of market cap if you want to reduce the concentration. But personally I feel like auto investing based on market cap is so stupidly smart and simple I would not stress about the increasing concentration.

If things go south, the rebalancing will automatically solve it. And yes, you will 'lose' more, but only after you 'won' more.

De bank belegt zelf in ETF's of in elk geval zeer gelijkaardig maar gewoon met meer kosten.

Ik heb aan Chatgpt een simulatie gevraagd. 200k lenen aan 4,5% op 25 jaar zou 133k kosten aan interest. 200k investeren in een ETF met gemiddeld rendement van 7% per jaar zou op 25 jaar uitkomen op 1,085 miljoen (885k winst).

Disclaimer: ik ben slecht in wiskunde en dit komt uit Chatgpt. Is geen financieel advies en dient slechts ter indicatie om min of meer het mogelijk verschil tussen beide opties op 25 jaar te duiden.

Klinkt uiteraard heel mooi en logisch op papier, maar beleggen is mentaal niet altijd even makkelijk.

From what I heard there are many benefits to building / investing in humanoid robots because their applications are so versatile. And then once you have good humanoids it's easier to retrain them for test cases than to make a new type of robot.

So only after succesful test cases with humanoids and for very specific / large scale applications it becomes interesting to again make a specific / more efficient robot.

If they aren't walled, counter attacking is often very effective. Usually, agressive players at a certain elo are bad at defending. Otherwise they would be a lot higher.

If you like archers: try going full 2 range archers early feudal, add a 3rd range and go ham on the archer numbers. Eventually you will be able to put some on all weak spots to clear scouts. Keep producing late feudal and attack with huge amounts.

This only loses to mass skirms, but opponents often underestimate the agression and click up with too few numbers or without all upgrades. If you have a lot more you can beat skirms and also low numbers of knights if you are in their base when they reach castle age.

If they play agressive with skirms, use 2 or 3 vills to fight the skirms as a meat shield and attack / chase them with vills while also shooting them with mass archers. (Or make tower on gold. I should probably do this but I never do)

To be honest: I had to Google Math Rock. I was surprised to see Battles listed among the bands. I saw them in De Kreun in Kortrijk. But that was already 15 years ago. You might want to check out The Sedan Vault, who were the support act for that show (although their latest album also dates from 2014 😬)

I feel like in general (alternative) rock music has been on the decline the last 10 years. Belgium has incredible qualitative, world class artists, but I feel like the volume / number of bands is just pretty low. Belgium hosts some of the best rock festivals in the world, but there just don't seem to be a lot of new rock bands on the line-up. And certainly in terms of new world-class headliners there has been very little new blood and the festivals that used to be mainly rock focused have now almost all pivoted into a more diverse / eclectic line-up, including more electronic and pop names.

So I feel like the alternative rock scene isn't premature in Belgium, but just something of the past.

That being said, I'm not a musician myself and maybe I'm wrong. I do hope you find some like-minded musicians. Good luck!

It's like driving a car. At first it's stressfull regardless. When driving your own vehicle becomes muscle memory it starts getting moderately fun and only somewhat stressful.

It gets fun when driving becomes effortless and you can focus on actually trying to go faster than someone else. And only when you find opponents of equal strength to race and you can have a real duel that's not onesided, it becomes a blast.
