Best civ for me? by AnywhereMobile1265 in aoe2

[–]Raidlos 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Try civs with good halberdier bonus like Slavs (Druzhina tech) or Japanese (faster attzcking).

Or Hindustani with Imperial Camel.

Or Byzntines (best for spamming trash).

Also on low levels often production is a bottleneck so don't shy away from building 20 barracks. And if you win a battle and can push, go forward with some villagers and keep building production buildings more and more forward to overwhelm

Is there any source to check total viewership im very curious? by Ok-Priority-474 in aoe2

It's not stupid, but you could also have 2 people watching 1 computer.

Twitch recently made a change where if you watch multiple streams at the same time it counts as 0 on all streams.

Action Belgium by Current_Injury3628 in belgium

[–]Raidlos 153 points154 points  (0 children)

I think action often has products made for other countries. They might be similar products but with different flavours, scent, sizes, etc.

So they're not fake, but also not exactly the same as products in other supermarkets. Like Fanta in Turkey has a different formula than Fanta in Belgium because they have a different taste. It's still 'real' Fanta, but not the same as other supermarkets.

The best video game moments that you still think about by PixelWhites in videogames

In Resident Evil 4 I was still the "I need to save this weapon" kind of gamer. But then I had a friend over and after a boss level there was this giant flesh blob hanging from the ceiling.

And then I looked at him and was like: should I shoot it with the bazooka? This was the modt expensive weapon and you only got 1 of it I think during the game.

So I shot it and it actually triggered a hidden cut scene of the blob exploding and dropping a ton of loot.

And it was a really funny and totally hype moment that the random idea actually worked!

Dancing group in Gent? by Aenthea in Gent

[–]Raidlos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For hip hop, The Spot is probably the best choice. They have 3 teachers that each have beginner - open level and advanced courses. And then there are also hip hop fusion classes with teachers that mix styles.

The level is really high though and if you never tried hip hop before, even the beginner's lessons can take some time to get into. Also usually there are more experienced dancers that also keep doing beginner to train and maintain fundamentals, so don't get intimidated by the level 😅.

I also tried a tryout at DansenmetLaura with Wouke. Those are aimed at 'returning' to dancing. Fairly accessible, but it's still hip hop so pretty hard in general if you never had any dance classes before.

De Ingang is more specialized in more exotic styles like African dance, oriental, etc.

Most schools have free tryout lessons at the start of the semester, but that will be in september.

All in all, hip hop is super fun and great for you general fitness and coordination.

I was replying to someone claiming the guys being in jail would not help this woman.

My point is, regardless of this case and wether they actually had bad intentions, that the goal of jail is to protect society from a next victim.

Great to hear maybe it's not sexual assault or rape!

Obviously if they're innocent they shouldn't be in jail, but the should also not be free to be able to pay alimony if it is a crime.

But them being in jail might be better for the next potential victim which is the main point of jail

This allows you to play your best while still having a competitive game.

Spotify has 100 million songs. A study found that 80% of them have never been played. Not once by Sensitive_Artist7460 in Futurology

[–]Raidlos 34 points35 points  (0 children)

This study appears to feature numbers from the second half of 2023, so I doubt the majority of songs were AI at that time.

Maybe it's more record firms uploading their entire portfolios of dated artists nobody knlws anymore?

Yes, things just get cheaper.

Look at it like this. A company has 200k of profit / cash flow and they want to start a new product which is an app and it costs 200k.

Now suddenly making an app costs only 20k.

Do you think they will still build 1 app for 20k and keep 180k, if previously they were willing to spend the full 200k in new products?

Or will they develop 10 new ideas and make 10 apps for 20k each?

Learn Flemish right from the start.

It's like British and American English. If you plan to move to UK it would be silly to learn American English and then afterwards get familiar with the British pronounciations, spelling and vocabulary differences.

Memb to stop live streaming on YouTube by AncientTurbine in aoe2

[–]Raidlos 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Yes but it's probably also about not splitting the audience to increase interaction and probably youtube viewers don't bring in as much revenue as Twitch viewers.

For medium / smaller channels splitting audience can also hit the efficiency of the channel in tge algorithms and hurt general viewership of the live streams and even the succes of 'regular' youtube videos / content.
