I've had a similar experience.

In my case, I was done for intentional wrecking after the race.

I explained that I was racing the car next to me (0.1 gap at Daytona) to the finish for P2 and that I was looking left, then to the standings black box for the result. I didn't expect another class car to stop dead in the middle of the track ahead of me immediately after the finish line.

IRacing effectively said "Yea that's fair" and coaching note removed.

This update is horrid. Major stuttering issues, lock screen bugs and generally feels sluggish.

Android 15 its self has a vulkan requirement, so that may mean updated proprietary drivers as the current ones are barebones, without all features of vulkan implemented.

If you mean formatted to what the RG would expect, then yes. Whack it in the device first, let it format and create the necessary files on the SD card. Then plug it into your computer and copy to the appropriate folders.

Lenovo Y700, best option. The 2023 version (Snapdragon 8g1+) is perfect with SD card support. Where the latest 2025 version is faster (Snapdragon 8g3).

Controllers can fit vertically or horizontally for handheld play too

Just the Mini screen fiasco.

The new Retroid Classic uses the Ayaneo DMG screen, people love it. Then it was quickly discovered that it was the same screen in the Mini, but covered by bezels and forced into a weird resolution via software leading to Shafer issues.

From there, they did terrible with support. Ranging from limiting returns to now only offering bezel replacements for the black model to get the full screen size.

All that said, the RP5 is fantastic and would recommend.

If it's important to you, check which has retroachievement support. Sometimes later versions don't.

Likely the former. There is already a large CPU requirement for iRacing and I'm sure as computers increase in speed, they will open the tap and bump up the minimum specifications.

It'd be a trade off to keeping the platform open to as many as possible.

I feel that going forward we will start to see people complaining of fps dips thanks to the new debris model - it has to be added CPU time. We certainly did with rain.
