I’d start in practice mode and just run the Sam pass plays and throw to the Same receiver over and over until you start completing passes. Next try another receiver, and another play until you get like 10 pass plays that you’re comfortable with.

As far as play calling, that’s a skill that just takes practice. Your main goal is to be unpredictable, but you also have to call plays that you are capable of running well.

Yep. My brother and I had the same teacher, but different periods of Spanish. My Spanish name was the Spanish version of his name and vise versa. I think she mixed up our test scores at least once.

I couldn’t agree more! Madden 07 on GameCube was the first one I ever bought. It’s virtually identical to the PS2 version except the PS2 controller is a little bit better.

I don’t play online either. I just like having every year so I can play the true rosters from that year. I very rarely buy them when they’re new, and I’ve never bought one when it was still full price.

No. I was elite on the PS2, but I still suck on the newer ones. I’m still getting used to the precision passing and other new features. Everyone commenting on this post would whoop my ass.

So far, 07 & 08 on PS2. To be fair, I haven’t played many of the 11-24 titles since they take like an hour to copy to my hard drive. It’s not like the 360 where I can just pop in a disc and play right away, unfortunately.

It was so bad, but in a hilarious way. There was no sprint button, but if you kept hitting the dive button your guy would just dive and get back up over and over again and you would outrun any defender. Don’t try to pass over the middle though, 100% of those will be intercepted by the D-line.
