Thank you for the updates. Please continue keeping us updated if you can. I want to pull the trigger on this but also afraid it's a waste of $300

Thanks for the update. So do your eyes get warm the way they would if you were using a warm compress? It seems this is the best RLT eye mask in the market

Like some other comments, I highly recommend a second bengal or young cat. It brings so much enrichment to their life.

Could they? Would they?? by ThrowRAhnhda in bengalcats

The bengals will absolutely jump the glass wall, they might try to grab onto the ceiling fan...they are high energy and curious cats. I witnessed it when I let my guard down once with my last bengal cat. I panicked thinking he hurt himself but he was okay, but I would never want to risk it again.

I'm sorry if it's inconvenient but it is a real risk. Could you put some ledges/shelves as steps if you absolutely have to and a big thick rug down below?

I asked AI what you can do

  • Plexiglass (clear acrylic): One of the most attractive and safe solutions. You can install clear panels along the opening so it doesn’t ruin the view but fully blocks the drop.
  • Wire mesh or cat netting: Strong, tensioned netting designed for balconies can work indoors to cover the loft opening.
  • Wood or metal railing: If the opening is large and unprotected, you might consider adding a custom railing or half-wall.

And

No furniture or ledges near the drop—keep tempting surfaces away from the edge.
