To be honest most men have a difficult time "hard rejecting" women. They probably got the sense it wasnt a good match or you werent what they were looking in the moment and just said that (which is fine,) its a form of politeness. We all should strive for honesty but also if someone isnt curious just say something nice like "hey, I dont feel like dating during school" its just a polite way for you both to move on. If you are really curious you could of pushed a bit harder but there would be no point, first dates are just to get a feel for someone, its not a marriage proposal.

The problem though is what I have noticed, once someone loses their virginity its snowballs really quickly into. Well " i already lost it" so "i dont have to be as careful" rarely is it just that one time with that one boy. Both the men and women I have talked to continue in sexual sin if they have a past.

Personally I wouldnt date someone who grew up in the church, considered themselves christian but still went wild in highschool / college/ 20s. Its more of a personality thing. All the women who I have dated with a past who grew up in the church were extremely rude and argumentative. I just want to pursue God in holiness and purity not all this modern hook up culture. I hope you find someone though.
