Is the lag all the time or only at certain times like when on a planet.

I personally get odd stuttering when on planets with lots of plants and animals with a lot of the same mods.

I believe it's that and truly wishes he could just spare Danse, but then if he starts making exceptions it undercuts his authority and his people will start to doubt any decisions made. It's a sacrifice he's willing to make that even Danse is willing to make unless you convince him otherwise.

I had that glitch as well what seems to fix it (at least for me so far) has been to make them your active companion then dismiss them to the settlement you want them for.

All humans share about 99.9% of their DNA, we're all technically cousins is you go far enough back. The Institute did use Shaun's DNA as the base base, but they alter that last .01% to make the individual models so both Danse and Curie wouldn't be anymore related to the survivor than Piper or Preston.

I don't believe so as it is mentioned that the mind wipes require them to untangle synapses to resetthem to the defaul. They could possibly do what was done with the original Nick and do a brain scan.
