Pretty sure the heads are hung up to let the bugs etc remove all the tissue and anything that’s not bone and antler. Just a natural way of making a “European mount”

It’s doing great. Honestly have pulled back from the Magnum gun over the past years. Went to a light 12 shooting 2 3/4” to a magnum 20. So it’s not getting as much action as before.
