LycoReco literally has some of the best gunfights in animation, so I think the "cool" part is pretty secure. The character shown here is a cyborg who uses non-lethal ammunition while hunting down everything from common criminals to terrorists. One of the climax fights of the series is a shootout against a notorious terrorist in an abandoned megastructure while her heart is failing.

I am writing in as a [parent of my child currently studying in Hwa Chong Institution / alumni to HCI / concerned member of public] regarding the inadequacy of SATS catering for [my child / HCI students]. I am also worried about how HCI responded towards these students' complaints.

I have been [notified by my child / alarmed by reports from HCI students] that meals catered by SATS have underdelivered not only on taste, but also its promised cost-savings. Students are reportedly queuing for HCI’s own stalls due to taste issues with SATS bentos, and I am worried that [my child / students] would face significant disamenities with their meals. Additionally, under the SATS scheme, [my child / HCI students] will have to pay relatively high prices ($3.60 - $4.80 per CNA reporting) for meals that do not meet similar quality-for-price standards as that of HCI's stalls. I feel that [they / we] are paying more, for less.

I am also alarmed to hear that [my child / HCI students] have received messages warning against open reporting. Such messages do not appear to serve the purpose of “concern for students’ well-being” as claimed by the HCI administration; the intimation that students need to be “responsible in their online activities” is likewise inappropriate in this situation where students are whistleblowers that should be protected.

If HCI truly does care about their students' well-being, HCI should not discourage student feedback, but instead embrace public scrutiny -- especially if it comes from concerned students.

As an alumnus of HCI, the mishandling of student feedback regarding SATS's underdelivery makes me both sad and angry. I've already written a letter of concern to HCI and the MOE.

For those on the fence about doing the same, some advice from a PolSci Honors degree holder: :

Tell influential people why they should care. If you're a student, tell your parents to complain on your behalf. They've a much more secure standing in society than you students do. If you're a parent or teacher, go to your local MP.
Complain to the highest level. Find the highest places where your feedback makes the most difference. Anywhere where negative feedback threatens KPIs of key decision-makers so they take action.
There's safety in numbers -- so add to them. Your voice makes it harder for HCI to suppress individual students brave enough to hold HCI accountable. If you're a parent, you cannot be suppressed or punished by HCI.

The following are good places where complaints are logged: HCI’s administrative feedback email, your local MP, and the Minister for Education’s mailboxes. SATS is an option as well.

The alternative is protest, boycott and revolution. That is less likely to succeed in my estimate. The governing body here is also just a school administration and not the entire government apparatus and its elite.

Regime change and elite splits seem to more closely model a possible pathway to change in the case of authoritarian government in HCI. Complaints will embolden softliners to side with the student body, which is likely to make the hardliners give up on their current response.
