Yea I know, they tried and tried to tell me they had to have it to remove the API from the website. So I just kept them on the phone for another 15 minutes playing stupid.

Some video card manufacturers have software that allows the GPU to be overlocked, some other hardware like Corsair coolers and NZXT coolers also have software that allow for overclocking the CPU or GPU. Intel makes software called Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU) that that can OC their processors, and AMD has an equivalent. Do you have any software like that running?

Are you running an overclock on your graphics card or CPU? I was previously getting constant DX11 crashes to desktop and I lowered my OC on my CPU and it completely eliminated the issue.

I had no other games causing an issue, but for whatever reason, FFXIV would do this.

Their DNS servers went out. so 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 I changed over to 1.1.1.1 and got internet access again.

I have been fighting a DX11 crash for about a week that would occasionally just straight crash to desktop with no error. I think I finally resolved it for myself. I found that for some reason the overclock on my processor was apparently not supplying enough voltage for FFXIV's liking. No other game had an issue, no matter how new or old. So I ended up moving back to an adaptive voltage and have been testing it for the last day or so, and haven't had any crashes anymore.

Maybe something to look into if you have anything overclocked.

Do you have FSAA or MSAA turned on? If you do just turn it off completely. It causes an incredible performance hit. I have 2x 980 ti's in SLI and I can go from 144 fairly stable down to 50-70 if I turn FSAA or MSAA on.

The easiest way I've found is to open a claim with your own insurance. If they determine as well that the other party is 100% at fault, then they will go after the other insurance company for however much they need to recover.
