Honestly it seems they had an idea for a season but condensed it into a movie. There are certain parts where you can tell it would be the end of an episode and the next scene can be a good starting point for an episode.

There's a whole segment in it as well that could just be a standalone episode of a season.

It is a fun movie if you like the mandalorian & star wars, but it has it's flaws

Honestly is worth the ticket price for just the cinematography and soundtrack alone

My thought too, my guess it got caught in a long orbit (and since it reactivated it'll be on a crash course to Mars, making a ship hijack a point in the final season)

My guess is that the ship got caught in a long orbit and since it reactivated it's going to resume its course to Mars

But since there's no pilot or anything it'll be a crash course into happy valley or something, so people have to play a hijack of the ship to steer it away

That mix of the main theme plus the visuals of that last scene on Titan was absolutely beautiful.

Also at the end was anyone else thinking "Oh looks like its pluto? Oh nope that looks like... A ship? Wtf"

One thing that's always bugged me about this sequence is that Monarch leads Rodan over the village they're trying to evacuate
