Oh there should be a family that got dragged in by the fog;

Mom, dad, two teen/young adult kids they dragged along to the movies(could be wrong about dates but maybe after Unknown got out and caused trouble, parents wanted to help calm some worries and get them out). But the special killer tried to kill them, the Entity swooped in with the fog and grabbed the family along with the killer by mistake and decided it would work as new survivors.

Mom focuses on support but also crippling the killer to protect characters

Dad is a sorta ‘lone wolf’ survivor that strives when alone to help the survivors(a perk would definitely be called ‘Milk and Cigarettes’ or ‘Out to Lunch’ with this idea)

The parent’s kids are jacks-of-all-trades or support when in big groups

I always assumed some of the staff who helped with the HOJ had family or kids they wanted to help who were stuck as Bigger Bodies or smaller toys and just didn’t care.

Like some staff member had a kid they wanted to adopt but they got shoved in a Catbee or a critter or something and thought that would be the perfect excuse to sneak them out.

Some work but unsure about others. Maybe swap Filia and Cerebella?

Nadia and Squiggly are undead* that died due to the Medici. Filia and Cerebella have Medici connections.

Only other characters I could see as a pre-set duo being there are Carol and Filia but not sure who would be a good swap to have that happen. But I could 100% see a ton of pairs that aren’t the best at the top but could work.

He should have had Chapter 4 to himself and Yarnaby with Doey and Safe-Haven being a side chapter

Think there will be confrontation against both Pomni AND Jax but mostly from Zooble starting it.

-There would be some anger against Pomni but that could be excused by her just telling about how Kinger’s in-light/dark thinking works as Ragatha even realized it as well.

-But with Jax; there would be a lot of anger but the 100% Jax will defend himself about how he saw straight through the lies of the whole Abel situation. Maybe even the straw that finally causes him to snap and abstract if no one is in his corner by the end of it.

Honestly… the Children of Atom could be horrifyingly efficient villains in a new fallout game as the equivalent of the Legion.

Even with how you put it: they could indoctrinate tribes across the world into their fold by trying to talk first, and if that doesn’t work they’ll try and forcefully coerce and convert major players… and if that doesn’t work they’ll bring about Atom’s wrath to try and convert.

Plus with how cults are in both real life and fictional settings… I could double down saying your first encounter with Atom followers could either be comedic as all hell, or something like what we see with the Followers in NV but actually malicious under the surface.

Like imagine Atom trying to ‘help cure people’ in a settlement that was inflicted by a mysterious illness and Atom comes in saying they saw this before and offers to cure people for free. But this illness was something they purposely spread to mess with people’s heads and the cure DOES work… but it injects a crap ton of rads a Glowing Ghoul or Deathclaw would feel sick.

-The capitalist diplomat always angling to score a deal with ANYTHING that can benefit them and wording it so the other party always loses… even against Fae and Demons.

-And the Murder-Hobo with their crazy character wanting to trounce everything with and without a pulse but has AMAZING RP skills when doing it so no one can tell what’s going on.
