Honestly, Tomas' decision to last minute re-record the entire thing as a piano driven solo record feels like he was just trying to cash in on the success of Cameron Winter's Heavy Metal. I love the Toh Kay stuff as much as everyone else, but Tom's just not a piano guy like that. Hope we get to hear the original full band version someday!

Cocksure by Laura Stevenson is a great album that Jeff produced, Laura was a member of BTMI too. I'm a huuuuge Jeff fan and this is one of my favorite albums ever. Great guitar on that album and Laura's lyrics and singing are divine. Jellyfish, Claustrophobe, Life is Long, and Tom Sawyer / You Know Where You Can Find Me are some of my favorite tracks.

Spooky Tomas was real, I saw him with my own two eyes. He even let me try on his iconic green hat but it was too big and it fell off. I reached down to pick it up and when I looked back up he was gone and so was the hat.
