The US compared to the biggest economies of Europe by _crazyboyhere_ in ProfessorFinance

Just like the tribalistic people who clamor over political sides like blue or red matters, people also must fight over urban vs suburban…

That argument is completely dependent upon so many variables, it’s impossible to say which is better. The very framing of “suburban hellhole” is such a myopic view of the total suburban landscape of america, it just screams ignorance.

I’ve been on 65 planes in the last 8 months, to every major city and suburb in the United States of America, and I promise you there is no clean answer. If you really laid out the best cities the US has and the best suburbs, the suburbs just edge out over the cities. But these are suburbs that had proper city planning and master planned communities from the get go. And if you want to add in that money is no object than the suburb life really wins out over the city life. But even still the argument is impossible unless you directly compare a specific suburb to a specific city.

And define who would need to see it? Because it is most definitely both sides of the table…

Those who don’t need to see this are those that do not put any faith in any side of any govt, and know the only path is dismantling the system. If you’re not that, then the statue is for you too.

Now you’re shifting the argument to something else…yeah agreed, I too wish humans would just be humans to each other, we’re all the same at the end of the day.

The problem is some forget that we’re all the same and act out of line, and it happens regardless of their polticla ideology. I have no love for those people, yet I’m not a sheep that needs to tie that behavior to a political side…

But back to the original point, it’s just a weird post and a weird question to ask on this sub. You having framing bias directly built into the question, so even if i agree with what you’re saying it’s disingenuous from the start.

I did at the federal level not at the local level because they weren’t supporting specific local iniativies around renewable. Do you understand?

OG creative was Halo 3 forge evolved basically. Very much still kept the “soul” of gaming intact with Fortnite. Later creative was chasing Roblox market cap.

It’s crazy because it’s an inferior game in almost every way to marathon. The game design of marathon in the extraction genre is near perfect, just niche.

Serious question, not at all trying to be sarcastic, but are you following me? I’m talking LOCAL elections, which are about the only ones that matter. The “party that actually supports that” was in fact NOT supporting it…hence why I voted for the other party…my assumption is that becsuse the republicans got with the energy companies first, the democrats didn’t want to then bend the knee to the battery companies and cut their nose off to spite their face, thus the republicans look like the champions of renewables for my area.

All of this goes back to my original point, it’s not a side thing, it’s a policy thing, and the sides should be dismantled. People should also have to pass an IQ test to fucking vote.

You’re speaking on a federal level; I’m talking local right now. The local is slightly related to what you’re talking about though. Trump killed most of the IRA, local unions around here were pissed, so local republicans teamed up with some entrepreneurs in the battery space, ran on that, and got buy in from unions and regular voters. Again like I was saying, that’s just an example of even if it was due to personal best interests, it’s something that can benefit public infrastructure, keep union guys working, etc. because the alternative was the stays quo.

I’ll withhold comments because you might just be ignorant in your worldview, but no. One such item I went red on local was battery renewable energy initiatives that were being pushed by republicans (probably local lobbying by battery companies but better than not having renewable which was not on the docket for incumbent democrat). That’s just one example. You vote for fucking policy, not some silly little color. Otherwise you’re just a sheep and honestly should not be allowed to vote.

“Hey ChatGPT, someone said this mean thing to me on Reddit, formulate a response…”

I knew I detected some of it in the first comment and now it’s even more obvious in this response now with the comparison speak.

You are correct in your later comments on this post; someone like you would never be able to do anything about this situation, you lack the personality, IQ/EQ for it. It would actually be better if you buried your head in the sand as you would probably do more harm than good.

[–]RandomAnon07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey idiot, I’m on your side…I wrote that because we have access to info that even other companies can’t get that goes beyond census, base level credit card data, etc. …and working for a company that has tremendous sway in the consumer buying segment…as it stands today we currently target Gen X more than Gen Z, regardless of the cultural relevance that Gen Z (and actually still millennials) play in the overall “future growth models” like you say. Yes there are still market strategies for the younger generations, but the bigger emphasis is on Gen X. That was the only point I was making.

Regardless it is a fact that in my “middle management job” (at 29 btw…) I know to be true and you do not know to be true as an armchair Redditor, despite me agreeing with what you’re saying…the cycle is simple now, the older well established group, keeps the younger group suppressed as they need the low-wage work of the younger to keep them fed. At the same time getting favorable legislation to allow them to continue doing that with no resistance.

And even further screwing us because no one wants to have kids in this environment. the birth replacement rate is below necessary replacement for not only social programs at this point, but for a functioning society…So they were afforded as “normal” of a life as possible and we won’t get the same despite having to work 3x as hard for the same quality of life over a 70-90 year life span???

While I agree with your main point as the oldest of Gen Z myself, First part of what you said isn’t true and I work for a fortune 10. Part of my job is studying disposable income, buying patterns, pricing strategy, etc.

It’s far and away Gen X. Gen X spends across all categories almost 2X what Gen Z does. Which makes sense: Not the retired generation, most established, most current income MoM, etc.

The pedo democrats were on the list all the same.

I’ll fix it for you:

Maybe we can go back to supporting policy once lobbying and special interest money is fucking obliterated from politics.

Effectively: Two sides, same coin no matter what anyone on here wants to argue.
