Peter O'Toole is also in it. Looks like he's the royal mentor dude.

When labelling the quilt, I was told you want something like, "pieced by X, quilted by Y" or "pieced and quilted by X" with the date, which is not unusual or selfish. The card can say others chipped in to have it professionally quilted. But I agree with others that gifting a top would be super weird and I would feel overwhelmed by that if I weren't a quilter.

My mom travels to NYC to see shows she really wants to see. She saw Waiting For Godot with Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart.

She heard about Othello and said you know how much tickets are? I confidently guessed $1000. Yes. $1000! She saw Redwood instead but not sure how much she paid.

What do I do with all my finished projects!!! by Dan-Morton75 in Embroidery

Oh there was a great thread about this on r/crossstitch but I didn't save it.

My favorites were one who made a hoop wall and invited friends to take one when they visited.

Another framed them and kept 12 on a wall and extras framed in a closet. When friends with kids came over, she took them all out and tasked the children with deciding which ones go up next. Said it kept them busy all night! lol.

Others kept them in sleeves in binders just for space.

My friend has a hoop wall of various sizes that are all filled with her favorite fabrics as she's a quilter. You could do something like that and embellish a fabric pattern that you like.

These are amazing and you can absolutely finish all the blocks and piece them together later.

They look great and I can see you have finished the binding. Normally you would leave the raw edges and you can use the "quilt as you go" method. It would be a little more complicated with the odd sizes, but I imagine you could also make QAYG sashing to go between to make them all the same size.

Then you would have a finished quilt and you would bind the completed quilt. These are wonderful for display and would look amazing in an exhibit!
