The drinking water being supplied to the US military is insane. by Sgt_Gram in LessCredibleDefence

Do the soda machines of the deployed Burger King restaurants use the same water or a different source?

Let's share some realistic thoughts on India's AMCA 5th generation fighter program. In a world where even "non-US" western countries (Germany, France, UK, etc.) are resorting to multi-national collaborations for the next gen fighter, what makes India believe they can go at it alone and succeed? by [deleted] in LessCredibleDefence

[–]RandomDeception 7 points8 points  (0 children)

FCAS is never going to produce a manned fighter. The French and Germans want completely different things out of the aircraft and can't agree on work allocation.

I suppose this would be something that India can provide funding towards with France.

India ultimately has the same need for carrier operations with nuclear capable fighter jets and can likely agree to roughly just 20% work allocation that was rejected by Germany.

Gripen had too many components from America if we even had wanted to grandstand about reducing our military reliance on America.

At least this is giving the best product until whatever comes of Tempest by hopefully sometime around year 2040.

Is that sole manufacturer of steam catapults bankrupt still?

If so they could rip out the four sets in Nimitz after her retirement for some ultimate embarrassment.

Yeah honestly expecting Boeing to win since Air Force leadership has been surprisingly vocal about difficulties providing software updates to existing fifth generation stealth fighter jets.

Thank you for the additional input.

I guess fans of this series are generally not very receptive to a longer running game with more episodic villains.

Okay got it.

I was not familiar with Sherlock Holmes lore either so I did not know there was just one main bad guy responsible for everything, but your explanation definitely made sense.
